A man with long, swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with carved relief panels behind him. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over one shoulder, a gold border on his dhoti, and a heavy gold bead necklace with a pendant. He has a red bindi and white markings on his forehead, smiles, and raises his right hand in a blessing gesture. Red cushions rest on the armrests. The appearance matches the Swamiji (probable) cues of long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold necklace, seated in a position of honour.2011-01-29 +1 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07July 07 20092009-07-07A man with long, swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate golden throne-back decorated with embossed figures. He smiles and raises one open hand in a gesture of address. To the right, a brass oil lamp with a flame burns beside grey draped fabric. Red and yellow flower garlands frame the throne, and a red-and-gold cushion rests on each side. Behind him is a printed backdrop with a partially visible red-orange painted deity figure. He has long dark hair and raises his right hand in a blessing gesture while smiling. The throne has orange-red cushioned armrests. A microphone is visible at lower right.
