June 30 20152015-06-30 +3 copiesA photograph of a man in an orange saffron robe walking down a tiled hallway, wearing a long red and white flower garland draped over his shoulders and a gold beaded necklace. A man in white clothes follows behind him. Orange silk curtains hang on the right wall and a yellow wall runs along the left. The central figure has long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi, and appears to be a visiting devotee or sannyasi being honoured on arrival. Identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2010-01-19A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi stands in the centre of a temple setting, smiling and raising one hand in greeting. He wears a red-orange saffron-toned garment with green-and-gold border trim and a heavy gold necklace with multiple large gold beads and a gold chain, plus a gold bangle on his wrist. Several people in white dhotis and white shirts stand around him with hands joined in anjali, one younger boy in white bowing his head, and a bald man in a white dhoti on the far right. A devotee at left with glasses also has palms pressed together. Behind them, a golden decorated temple setting and draped fabric are visible, with a small wooden box or tray held near the central figure. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron-toned clothing and ornate gold necklace with bead garlands.2010-12-28December 11 20112011-12-11Photo of a man standing barefoot on a pale stone floor, palms pressed together in namaste and smiling. He wears a rust-red sannyasi-style robe, a long multi-strand garland of red, white and green flowers with gold beads, a rudraksha mala with a large gold pendant, gold armlets and wristlets, and a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a figure in white dhoti with gold borders and a white forehead mark stands at left, and several men in white clothes stand watching. Palm trees and a temple tower appear in the background.2016-04-10A smiling man with long dark swept-back hair and a red bindi stands in an orange saffron robe, wearing a long garland of white flowers alternating with red and green leaves, and a rudraksha mala hanging from his neck. He walks through a doorway in a temple setting. Behind him a man in white dhoti and shirt holds the door handle, and several people in white ritual clothes, including one wearing a yellow-trimmed white dhoti, move past under striped red-and-white awning and hanging floral decorations.2006-12-29January 12 20142014-01-12August 17 20122012-08-17A photograph of a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with a white and red flower garland entering a house through a doorway. He is smiling and walking forward in a white-walled hallway with a tiled floor. Behind him, a woman in a white sari with a red border and a red blouse, along with other people in orange and white clothing, follow through a doorway decorated with a yellow and orange flower garland and hanging ornaments. A small red bindi is visible on his forehead.2010-01-10July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 28 20082008-07-28A photograph of a smiling man with long, dark, swept-back hair and a red bindi, wearing a white and red jasmine garland and an orange garment with a gold border over one shoulder. He holds his palms together in namaste while raising his other hand in greeting. Behind him a man in white clothes stands at the right edge beside an orange wall, and a white fabric drape hangs between metal poles. The appearance cues (long swept-back hair, orange garment, garland) are consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, so this is a probable identification, but the framing and expression are otherwise unremarkable.2007-01-01
