A procession of saffron-robed sadhus walks along a dirt path at a construction site, with stone blocks and a stone boundary wall behind them. Three umbrellas (chhatra) with red, orange and multicolored embroidered canopies and tassels are carried above the group. In the centre, a robed figure holds a gilded ritual vessel, and beside him another holds a small blue and gold deity murti on a tray. Trees and onlookers in the background complete the scene.2006-12-09February 10 20072007-02-10 +1 copiesOctober 29 20142014-10-29February 28 20132013-02-28January 02 20092009-01-02February 28 20132013-02-28A procession moves along a sandy path past palm trees and rows of dark stone sculptures. A man in front wears a saffron-orange robe with a long garland of white flowers and red blossoms, walking barefoot with a bright yellow-and-orange canopy above him. Behind him, another saffron-robed person walks alongside, and several people in white dresses with yellow shawls follow carrying an umbrella-like canopy with colourful tassels. On the left, a bald man in orange robes holds a brass tray or offering plate. Kolam designs are drawn on the ground and a stone pedestal with flower offerings sits at the right edge.2010-02-12February 28 20132013-02-28March 10 20132013-03-10January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA photograph of an outdoor procession on a dirt path lined with palm trees. Women in orange saris and men in white dhotis walk behind, and two large ornate banners with embroidered tassels hang on poles at the left.
