A large dark grey stone Shiva lingam with horizontal white-and-grey striped bands stands on a black circular platform, draped with a garland of orange and white flowers. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand on a white metal staircase and platform at the left, attending the lingam, one reaching toward its top. A small ornate gold umbrella-shaped canopy sits at the lower right. A garland of yellow and red flowers wraps around the top of the linga. Scaffolding with metal railings and steps climbs the linga, and several people in orange and red robes stand on the steps and upper platform near the top, one figure in saffron-toned clothing with a bare upper body visible at the top. A gold trident and a gold kalasha-like vessel sit at the base. Red flags line the far edge of the courtyard beside a reddish building, and green trees stand at left.2017-06-26A large dark grey Shivalinga stands outdoors, its upper dome draped with a garland of orange and yellow marigolds and red flowers. A metal staircase with white railings climbs to a platform beside it. On the platform, a painted statue of a man with long dark hair and a dark crown or headdress sits in an orange-red garment with a garland around the neck, with another figure partly visible behind him. Below on the stairs, figures in orange robes stand near oil lamps on the steps. Overcast sky and a reddish wall lie behind. The figures appear to be statues or depictions rather than living people.2017-05-22June 24 20132013-06-24October 28 20132013-10-28July 24 20172017-07-24May 24 20172017-05-24A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a tall dark black Shivling wrapped with a marigold garland in yellow, orange and red. Behind them stands a tiered red-brick structure with rows of seats and a light post, and white ducks rest at the right edge.2017-09-11July 08 20132013-07-08June 10 20132013-06-10 +1 copiesFebruary 17 20152015-02-17
