The doorway is covered by a thatched palm-leaf canopy decorated with orange and green paper festoons and banana stalks. Men in white shirts and white dhotis stand behind, one holding a basket and another with raised hands. Scattered red rose petals lie on a white cloth at the threshold, and a small kalasha-like pot with flowers sits in a window niche. The figure appears to be a person, identified by the saffron robe, floral garland and bead mala, and is therefore the one in_person candidate in this photograph.2009-08-11A photograph of a doorway in a white-walled home with a red carpet runner on the tiled floor. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti with bare chest and a woman in a green sari with blue blouse accompany the procession. Yellow marigold garlands and a green banana-leaf toran decorate the doorway. A man in white shirt stands behind, and a rattan swing chair sits on a veranda outside. Behind him, another person in orange robes follows through the doorway, and a string of colourful garlands hangs in the room beyond. A framed picture of a waterfall hangs on the wall at upper right.2010-01-09A smiling figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban stands in a doorway of a pale blue room, barefoot, with long dark hair and a dark beaded rudraksha mala around the neck. Marigold garlands frame the open red-painted door. Behind, several people in white and orange clothing gather, with a man holding a camera, and a colourful decorated cart with red and pink canopy and tassels is visible outdoors among palm trees. The figure shows strong appearance cues consistent with a person, shown entering the room as a guest of honour.2010-02-18A photograph inside a plain white-walled room with a wooden door and barred window. Center, a smiling young man with long dark hair and a red bindi wears an orange saffron wrap and a garland of white flowers, red roses and yellow marigolds. He has a distinctive appearance and is the central figure, but no printed name ties him to this photo. Beside him, a man in orange robes with a red-bordered shawl smiles toward him. Behind them, several men in white shirts and white dhotis, some wearing rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, stand and smile. A white cloth-draped chair sits at left.2009-01-10December 30 20092009-12-30
