A crowded indoor scene of saffron-robed sadhus at the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam camp. In the foreground, two bearded men with long dark hair, one tied in a bun, wear orange clothing with yellow and red tilak marks on their foreheads; the man on the left has a round badge pinned to his robe. Behind them, many orange-clad sadhus and devotees press together, some in white, some in orange turbans, and a woman in a green sari with garlands stands at right. A framed portrait with flowers hangs on the wall behind, and a telephone sits at the bottom right corner.

A seated group of saffron-robed sadhus at a gathering, with a bearded man in the centre wearing an orange kurta, a white shawl draped over one shoulder and a red tilak on his forehead, with a pen in his shirt pocket. Around him, men in orange and saffron turbans and robes sit close together, one on the left with white beard and red tilak, and deity garlands and silver ornaments blurred in the background behind them. Marigold garlands sit at the lower edge of the frame.

A crowded indoor corridor with pale plaster walls and a doorway at the back. Several sadhus in saffron and orange robes and bright orange or red turbans move through the space. In the foreground, a bearded sadhu with a yellow-and-orange tilak on his forehead and a grey beard holds a tall silver staff. Beside him, a sadhu in a red-and-gold robe with a beaded necklace also carries a silver staff. Behind them, a bare-chested man wears an orange shawl over a bead necklace, and a man in a checked shirt raises a phone to photograph the group. The atmosphere suggests a visit by a Mahanirvani akhada group at the Kumbh camp.

A photograph of a narrow indoor corridor with fluorescent tube lights and a metal ceiling. In the foreground a man in orange robes wears a long gold bead necklace with a pendant and glasses, and walks beside a taller figure in orange with long dark hair and a black rudraksha mala. Several shaven-headed men in orange robes follow behind them. A white plastic chair stands at the left edge and a red cloth lies on the floor at right.

Photograph inside a temple corridor beside a metal grille gate hung with a yellow flower garland. A man with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and a rudraksha mala, wearing a saffron-orange cloth and several gold bangles, stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside him an elderly sadhu with matted locks, a long white beard, white vibhuti stripes on his face and bare chest, and a dark rudraksha mala sits at a yellow table. Other men in white and pink shirts and a younger man in a red-orange wrap stand around them. The man with swept-back hair shows distinctive appearance cues consistent with a person, standing devotedly before the sadhu during the visit.

Photograph of saffron-robed sadhus entering a doorway in a cream-walled hall with ceiling fans. At left, a bearded elder with long grey hair and an orange shawl raises one hand in blessing, wearing a red rudraksha mala. Beside him a turbaned attendant in orange stands. In the centre, a shaved-headed young man in white clothing with a yellow tilak on his forehead and a dark rudraksha mala is bowing. To the right, a white-bearded sadhu in orange robes and a red turban wears a large white and beaded mala. Further right, several women in orange saris and glasses follow, and a man in an orange turban stands at the lower right. Lower foreground shows the heads of other devotees.

A crowded photograph inside a temple corridor lined with metal grilles and fluorescent tubes, with marigold garlands in orange, yellow, purple and white strung along the top. A younger man with long dark swept-back hair, a saffron robe and a gold chain of beads and rudraksha stands at the centre, looking upward with an open-mouthed expression. Beside him an older bearded man in a saffron robe with a gold necklace gestures with his hand, while a bearded man in an orange garment holds a white cloth. An elderly man in a white shirt with a red-and-white garland, a gold-bordered shawl and a red tilak stands at left, and a man with a red tilak and rudraksha beads stands at right. The central younger figure shows distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha-and-gold necklace, a person candidate, though the appearance is only moderately clear.
