A collage of three photographs and a shrine view. The main image shows an ornate temple shrine with carved stone pillars and a gilded arched niche holding a deity murti decorated with garlands and a golden crown, flanked by smaller figures, with flower-strung garlands along the front of the altar. A small inset at lower left shows two people in saffron and white clothing, one holding a brass lamp, at what appears to be a puja. A portrait on the altar shows a figure in orange robes. Panel captions read Himalaya-Yatra and Padauka Puja. The graphic has no physical people beyond these pictured scenes.2010-09-30July 21 20102010-07-21 +1 copiesA photo collage with a large main panel and a smaller inset. The main panel shows a golden ornate temple shrine with carved stone pillars and red curtains, housing a deity murti dressed in yellow and pink garments and garlanded with multicolour flower strands. Below the murti sits a framed printed picture of a man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala, placed in front of an ornate golden throne-like peetha with a small kalasha-style offering. Golden oil lamps stand on the sides. The inset on the right shows two men in white ritual clothing with folded hands seated before brass plates and offerings, during a puja.2010-10-01July 19 20112011-07-19A photograph of a decorated shrine framed by a stone and gold-trimmed canopy with red curtains draped on both sides. Below, a seated priest in white ritual clothing stands near offerings and brass vessels on a pink-and-white raised platform. Carved stone pillars and a golden arch frame the shrine. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible in the scene, so the depiction is a deity shrine with a priest.2010-11-17September 18 20112011-09-18
