Beside the throne stands a gold lion-form base, a tray of apples, and a silver plate with offerings. Around him devotees in white with yellow shawls sit in rows, hands folded, and a man in a red shirt with a badge kneels in front holding a brass vessel. A red draped backdrop and a bearded man with a microphone complete the satsang-style gathering. The figure's appearance is consistent with the a person candidate cues (long hair, saffron clothing, garland, ornate throne), but the page does not place him at this event, so identity is uncertain.2009-12-13August 01 20102010-08-01A seated man in an orange-saffron robe sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushioned armrests, hands pressed together in namaskar, wearing a red-orange flower garland and a long white jasmine garland hanging down. The throne is decorated with red and orange flowers. A small oil lamp burns with flame at the base of the dais, with fruit and offerings on red-covered trays beside him. Around the dais, several devotees kneel and sit, some in yellow shawls, white and cream sarees, and white shirts, extending hands toward the flame or in prayer. A man in a white shirt with an ID badge stands at left with palms joined. A white water bottle sits on the table. The setting is an indoor hall with cream walls and a red carpet.2009-11-29A photograph of a ceremony in a hall with a gold-trimmed throne at left. A man in orange robes with a topknot stands with palms pressed together in namaskar beside the throne, which has a red cushion and a vase of yellow and pink flowers. Before him seated devotees, several in yellow shawls, hold silver plates of lit oil lamps and flower offerings. A woman in a red-and-green sari, another in an orange shawl, and a man in a white shirt join their hands in prayer. Orange mats cover the floor, with rows of orange chairs and white curtains behind. Several people sit in the background and a dish of sweets sits on the throne table.2009-12-23November 29 20092009-11-29A seated man in an orange sleeveless robe sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-shaped armrests, hands pressed together in prayer and bare feet resting on a golden footstool. In front of him, devotees in white and yellow garments kneel with hands folded during a pada puja: a bald man with a rudraksha mala in white, a man in white with a yellow shawl and mala, and a woman in an orange shawl with folded hands. Silver plates with offerings, marigold petals, and small brass bowls are arranged on a golden tray. Behind them, more devotees in yellow shawls sit on a red-draped stage, with a fan and a small table with microphone equipment. To the left, a tray holds apples and sweets. The tent is decorated in red and orange fabric.2010-02-10November 27 20092009-11-27A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe on an ornate gold and red throne, garlanded with red and white flower garlands, hands joined in namaskar with eyes closed. A man in white shirt and white trousers with an ID badge stands at left, hands joined, and several devotees sit on the floor around the throne with hands raised in anjali, including women in yellow, teal and cream saris and men in white shirts. Fruit trays and a water bottle sit on white-draped tables behind the throne. This appears to be a darshan or pooja session; the seated figure's appearance shows several cues (orange robe, garlands, throne, shaved-to-short hair not visible) that are consistent with the page's named figure, but identity is uncertain.2009-11-29
