Indoor ritual scene in a white-walled hall with a dark polished floor. A standing man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with maroon borders wears a gold pendant necklace and stands beside a tiger-striped cloth draped over a rattan armchair. On the chair stands a large framed portrait garlanded with yellow marigolds and white flowers, depicting a seated figure in orange robes with a white garland and a rudraksha mala, one hand raised in blessing. In front, on a red patterned rug, a man in a white shirt and brown dhoti prostrates face-down. A brass plate holds a yellow-tinted offering ringed with white flowers, and a brass vessel sits at the left edge. Another person in white stands in the background near a curtain.October 10 20132013-10-10A photograph of a man in orange-red ritual clothing bowing with his forehead pressed against a deity murti heavily adorned with white jasmine garlands, red roses and purple globe-amaranth strands. His hands are pressed together in anjali mudra, and a white cloth and a small silver object are visible among the flowers. Sacred white markings appear on his forehead and upper arm. Another devotee is faintly visible at the lower right edge. The scene suggests a darshan or abhishekam moment before the deity.2010-07-21A person with long, dark, voluminous hair and an orange saffron garment with a gold border bends forward, pressing their head and face against a dark stone linga draped with yellow and white flower garlands. The scene suggests a shiva lingam abhishekam or puja.2007-01-01A photograph of a man in white ritual dress bending forward at a stone shrine, pressing his forehead and hand against the carved stone base. He wears a white dhoti and a white shawl with striped brown-and-gold borders, with rudraksha beads at his neck and wrists.
