Around him, several boys in red-maroon robes with white forehead markings sit close together, some holding small brass oil lamps and one wearing a rudraksha necklace. Behind them, people in white clothing sit with hands folded. The setting appears to be a hall with a red carpet, consistent with a lamp-lighting ritual during a gathering. The man's appearance is not sufficient to confirm the identity of any named teacher, so his role is described as a sannyasi-style participant.2013-10-30June 06 20122012-06-06A photograph of a shaved-headed young priest in an orange saffron shawl seated among boys in red and orange robes, several with white sacred ash stripes on their foreheads and arms. The central man wears a red bindi, a long rudraksha mala and gold bangles, and holds a lit oil lamp in his right hand while speaking and gesturing outward. Behind him, boys in red garments sit cross-legged, some holding brass items, in what looks like a ritual or teaching gathering.2013-09-23A photograph of a homa or fire ritual in an open courtyard. In the centre, a bald man in orange-red robes with a white forehead band and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged behind a smoking fire pit, with a brass bowl of offerings in front of him. Around him, many young boys and youths in saffron-orange robes, white vibhuti stripes on their foreheads and arms, and rudraksha malas sit closely together, several with palms pressed in anjali. A bald elder in red-brown robes sits to the left, and an older man in a white shirt stands at the upper left. Trees and red pillars frame the outdoor setting.2013-06-13A shaved-headed priest in a rust-red robe with a saffron-orange shawl stands in the foreground holding a brass oil lamp (aarti) in his right hand and a small brass bell in his left. He wears layered rudraksha malas, a dark beaded necklace, a ceremonial bead wrap and beaded bracelets, with white and red sacred marks on his forehead and arms. Behind him, several young boys in maroon robes with gold trim sit on mats, some holding lit oil lamps and brass vessels. Brass puja vessels, a lit lamp and flower offerings are arranged on a blue cloth in the lower frame.2013-06-07June 23 20132013-06-23July 29 20132013-07-29May 03 20132013-05-03July 05 20132013-07-05August 13 20142014-08-13
