Original Verse

"àwm! hI ^ÉaE haey b÷ir nIcaE puin haevE , dae% kr dae% j<"" mix nIkI ivx paEcE . b÷ir dae% Éuj snE j<"" bahr le AanE , nasaiÔiò lga# kaksI naiÉ ju QanE . 85."

Transliteration

"pratham hé übhau hoya bahuri nécau puni hovai | dou kara dou jaìgha madhi néké vidha paucai ॥ bahuri dou bhuja sanai jaìgha bähara le änai | näsädriñöi lagäi käkasé näbhi ju öhänai ॥ 85 ॥

Translation

Stand erect and then bend forward, bring both the hands at the level of thighs from the back side and make a fingerlock and then sit in squatting position so as fingerlock should touch the navel. Various miraculous effects in the body of Sadhaka may be felt. Kundalini leaves the Brahmarandhra and becomes straight.

Steps/Technique

"1. Squat keeping the hands in betweeen the thighs and calf muscles. 2. Interlock the fingers with the palm on the navel. 3. Fix the gaze at the tip of the nose. 4. Remain in this position for 30 seconds."
