Original Verse
"अलि-शब्द-युतं वेगात् पूरयेत्कुम्भयेत्-ततः |
सालि-शब्दाच्-छनै रेकात् भ्रामरि-कुम्भको मुनेः ॥
आनन्द-लीलां कुरुते भ्रामरि-कुम्भको मुनेः ॥ १६९ ॥"
Transliteration
"ali-śabda-yutaṃ vegāt pūrayetkumbhayet-tataḥ |
sāli-śabdāc-chanai rekāt bhrāmari-kumbhako muneḥ ॥
ānanda-līlāṃ kurute bhrāmari-kumbhako muneḥ ॥ 169 ॥"
Translation
"Inhale rapidly producing the sound of a black bee and exhale slowly with the sound of a black bee and exhale slowly with the sound of a black bee after retaining the breath. This is called Bhrāmari-Kumbhaka which produces ecstasy."
