In today’s morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda follows the story of Nachiketa, the child who overcame the mystery of death, as related in the Katopanishad. Everyone can journey past the fear of death when they are living without attachment. When sensory pleasure is felt incompletely the body simply builds a tolerance, ultimately losing the ability to enjoy at all. Once the understanding is achieved that all pleasures are temporary, the longing for them vanishes and one is able to make a plan for death. Death, met with conscious awareness, can be used as a springboard to immortality.

Understand bliss never leaves me. Bliss is there always. But I am also happy. Bliss never leaves me. When I look in it is there inside overflowing the happiness is unending. But the happiness I see when people are happening is happening in me so beautifully. One of my biggest part is my Tamilnadu organizers. Yesterday I was able to heal them, make them understand that this four tatvaas – tatvaas of integrity, authenticity, responsibility and enriching – this four tatvaas I was able to take responsibility for aligning them back to this four tatvaas. I was also able to work on the four tatvaas so beautifully. It is just extraordinary. Such a joy! Such a joy! It actually means much more than the transformation of the ashramites for me. The transformation of Tamilnadu organizers. It is not only TamilNadu from all four states people have come - from Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Karnataka and TamilNadu people have come. I promise you from this moment you will not have pain, you will not have any suffering. 2nd I give you the next promise you are not entering into any unknown space. When you came to Bidadi to attend the IA what you felt you will enter into the same space when you leave the body, you will just come and hug me and listen to me. And you will be sitting with , living around I promise you. Please understand I have a high sensitivity and I cannot utter a lie especially when a body is leaving the body. This is the moment you also expect authenticity from others and you also behave authentically. Understand. I tell you I can do what I am saying and I will do it. Just relax. You are with the right person, you are in right hand, just relax. I promise you when you came for IA when you came into the ashram when you saw me how you felt. Just like that with that deeper clarity you will see when you leave the body, you will around me and I will be talking to you. u will be completely aware and you will not have any pain, any suffering. Just relax. I want one more commitment from you. do I have freedom to do all this when you leave the body? Yes. That’s all. I will do what is needed. Do not ask the hospice people to quicken the death. Let them do all that is needed to prolong the death. ..I will support it because you decided. Are you able to see me now through camera. ..understand I will imprint in your eyes. I will imprint this smile in your Ananda Gandha! I will imprint this form in your heart and see to it I will guide you. just do not bother. After you leave also, I will give you power and freedom you will appear in the dream of your family members and confirm that you are in rest, peace and joy. This is the gift I give you for living with integrity, authenticity and cherishing my teachings. This is my gift to you. I am with you. I will relax you and see to it that you will rest in peace. Blessings! You guys don’t know how much of joy I feel the job satisfaction. See this is the space where things are completely in my control. In the land there are many other things interfering and because of the many other things your interference. But in that space there is no interference. I have already taken her yes. It is sung on Shiva. A famous astrologer Neelkanta Shiva his great grandfather sang this song. He had come recently and we were talking. Suddenly we discovered the family tree my great grandfather is cousin of his great grandfather! He used to be a great siddha it seems. Not just the medicine power of siddha tradition but also with the psychic and psychological powers of siddha tradition…his family only there is the person ….still doing this anjana – the eyetex. I wanted our Gurukul kids also to experience this process. This old man just applies this into kids eyes and the kids see the vision of Gods and the kids will give true answers to all questions. There was a show in the Zee Tamil. Let us continue the satsang on Nachiketa’s Katha Upanishad in the light of authenticity. ये ये कामा दुर्लभा मर्त्यलोके सर्वान् कामान् च्छन्दतः प्रार्थयस्व । इमा रामाः सरथाः सतूर्याः न हि ईदृशाः लम्भनीयाः मनुष्यैः । आभिः मत्प्रत्ताभिः परिचारयस्व नचिकेतो मरणं मा अनुप्राक्षीः ॥ Whatsoever objects of desire are difficult to obtain in the realm of mortals, ask them all as thou desirest; these lovely maidens with their chariots and musical instruments, such as are not obtainable by mortals--be served by these whom I give to thee. O Nachiketas, do not ask regarding death. As I said I will give you golden bed, pool, …I will give you everything but don’t ask about falling in the falls. Yesterday someone sent a picture exactly of a ship falling into the falls... Even if you have all this thousands of lovely maidens, chariots and musical instruments everything what can be done. You know every passing day you are moving towards death. One more thing you can move towards death by moving and floating towards death by forgetting. But problem is any floating you will do by forgetting problems inside will be on incompletion. There will be hangover inside. Gurukul kids back to Vajrasana… intense listening. How many of you think you cannot sit with deep listening freezing the body raise your hands. Other kids please leave the hall. Go back to gurukul and practice for few days. When you don’t move the body listening becomes part of your body and you become ekasantaagarahi. Please understand not moving the body is the first step for 1st time repeaters. As I said there are 3 categories – 1st time repeaters, 2nd time repeaters and 3rd time repeaters.1st time repeater means if you listen one time and repeat – you are then ekasantaagraahi, 2nd time repeater is when you listen 2 times - dvisantaagraahi and repeat, 3rd time repeater is when you listen 3 times and repeat - trisantagrahi. So putting thumb on thigh. Sit in Vajrasana, put your hand in samaana mudra. Gurukul kids freeze the body. That is the first step for ekasantaagraahya – first time repeaters. Slowly we will go to next step of freezing the eyes without blinking. When your eyes are frozen, ever word I utter will visually get recorded in you. then when I say visually the spelling will get recorded in you visually. Then you become first time repeaters. If you have to enjoy forgetting something. Will that be complete enjoyment? For ex, morn you fight with your room mate before coming to the satsang. Still that is going on in your head. Will you then listen to the satsang. Unless you complete either by fighting or ending. You fight to extreme and bring him to terms alright this is your border, this is my border. I have seen the street dogs in Inida, once they fight, they will have their own border and will stand on their border and will be growling <Swamiji makes the sound and imitates>. It means they will come to settlement and come to terms. You come to terms. You stand on your boundary, I will stand on my boundary. Or complete it. Alright not only for inauthenticity I take responsibility for your inauthenticity also I will take responsibility. let me have patience not to give up on you. this is completion, either you complete or settle only then you can listen to satsang till then it is not possible. You will be only sitting. You won’t be able to listen, you wont be able to listen. I tell you if somebody is doing their whole day routine in deep completion, that itself is enlightenment. I am able to follow my routine continuously because of deep completion. If something is going on in the head I can’t sit in paada puja and bless that person. If something is going on in the head, I cannot sit here and utter all these words which are subtle truths. Do you know how much completion is required to give the words to her? .. Everyday routine itself should be with the completion. Then if you don’t complete with the death, how are you going to live? It is like have a golden toilet. Okay. What can yodu o with the golden toilet? Finally do 1, 2 only na? because it is golden toilet will you say let me eat in it? Even if it is golden toilet what is the use? Can you get the picture of the gold ship ma? When they don’t keep the feedback, slowly I forget that I am not able to listen, I feel they are also n to able to listen. When I go to high pitch two days continuously then it becomes little difficult. Throat also. .. Unless you complete with death, you can’t start living. You can’t start living. Next. श्वोभावा मर्त्यस्य यत् अन्तक एतत् सर्वेन्द्रियाणां जरयन्ति तेजः । अपि सर्वं जीवितं अल्पमेव तवैव वाहाः तव नृत्यगीते ॥ - 26. Nachiketa very beautifully says. I just bow down to Nachiketa’s shraddha and authenticity. What a beautiful being. Please understand being a human being if someone tells asks whatever you want…what will you think. Let me ask for 10,000 years, enjoy then meditate and ask, I will meditate on Yama only and ask .. <Picture of ship falling into the falls is projected> if this ship is made of gold, golden toilet, golden bathroom, restaurant, golden plate, amazing Italian cruise and experience in Italian cruise. In Italian cruise people do only one thing eat, eat, eat and you know what they do after that. Even if you have this kind of Italian cruise what will happen? So understand, Nachiketa is so sincere. I really can’t believe he is a small kid. Whether due to his authenticity he is called as small kid. Please understand I don’t believe Jnaana Sambandar lived only 16 yrs. I believe he live 160 years and one zero got lost. Because he is a yogi and niraahaari. No way he could have died so young. Niraahaaris live longer because their system does not need any …they live on sun. our Niraahaaris understand are still Neerahaaris. But they have done a big step. In four steps, 2 steps are done. Other 2 are there. So our people are Neeraaharis means people who live on liquid diet. They need to do other steps for further process. JS was a complete niraahaari. Maybe once in a while for sake of devotees he ate once in a while or not I don’t know. But as a pattern he never had a food pattern. That he told me directly. Even that casually did he eat or not, I will see in Akashik reading and tell. Pachaamyannam chatur vidam! Nachiketa is so beautifully standing with his authenticity. Let us see what he says - “Nachiketas said: O Death, these are fleeting; they weaken the vigour of all the senses in man. Even the longest life is short. Keep thou thy chariots, dance and music.” I think Nachiketa is little annoyed. That is why NCHIKETA IS SAYIHNG you keep these with you. he just said these are all useless. Now he is telling Yama don’t play this silly game. Don’t think I am a child! It is like somebody coming to me and showing one chikki – if you give me energy Darshan I will give you this chikki. I don’t want that chikki to give you energy Darshan. But you say no, I give me one energy Darshan I will give you half chikki, one more another half. If a child does that it is okay. But yama is doing that. It is actually Yama should be behaving other way….power of authenticity. Just like our gurukul kids and their students. He says you keep these chariots dance and music. First word these are fleeting means unstable impermanent. They weaken the vigour of all the senses of man it means more and more incompletion stores in you more and more your senses will be weakened. If more and more you are complete, more and more your senses become alive. All these joys added to you by you forgetting death leads you to more and more death. See you hid the fear of death inside the cupboard, under the carpet and you go on dancing and jumping. so every sense action you are left more and more incomplete. So more and more incompletion weakens the senses. Listen, listen – when you put your fear of death and non-understanding of death under your carpet, <Seema tea, ATP, Shivapriya, Atmapriya tea> Under your carpet and hiding it with that incompletion, and you go on adding diff joys, sense pleasures it creates more and more incompletion. For example, first day just to avoid the fear and death fear you drink little alcohol. That leads to incompletion. Next day because of the incompletion, senses lose the vigour and you have to take more alcohol to feel high. After few days more because of more incompletion, your senses loses more vigour and you have to take even more alcohol to feel high. This is the same way it happens whether tea or alcohol or coffee or sex or food or any taste even music. Music or touch or taste of sweet every level, without completing the fear of death and death, you go on enjoying. It is a nice way of taking responsibility for other’s inauthenticity…even if they sleep, we found the right way to remind them not to sleep. These are fleeting – श्वोभावा मर्त्यस्य यत् अन्तक एतत् सर्वेन्द्रियाणां जरयन्ति तेजः । Means when more and more sense objects are enjoyed with the unfullfilment, incompletion, senses become duller and duller and duller. Senses loses the vigor. So beautifully Nachiketa says when the senses lose their vigor, even the longest life is useless short – अपि सर्वं जीवितं अल्पमेव! अपि सर्वं जीवितं अल्पमेव, अपि सर्वं जीवितं अल्पमेव! So he is telling the jeevitam – whatever life even if long, but it is short. Alpam – if your senses are – understand this tatva. Listen. That is why in Buddhist monasteries the moment child becomes physically mature. Usually in Buddhist monasteries it happens around 18. The moment child becomes physically mature, immediately the child is sent to graveyard to mediate, understand about death – 3 months – 90 days. You should have a syllabus for all physically mature kids. They should go and stay in Varanasi ashram three months. One semester they can study there. Nothing wrong. Half of the time they have to sit and gaze at the bodes that are being burnt means whole night. Day time they can sleep and study for few hours. From our ashram they can sit and gaze at bodies burning continuously. Because only when you understand death, the cognizance… This is the Manikarnika Ghat the exact scene from our ashram. Average 300 bodies are burnt per day sometimes goes up to 1000 per day. min 300, goes up to 1000. This is the world’s busiest crematorium – cremation ground. Okay. Understand this – unless you anchor yourself with the clarity of death, the more and more pleasures you dump on death due to incompletion of the experience, senses become dull. Just yesterday one of my Bramhachari is talking to me he is the dullest head I ever had. He said Swamiji now I realize why I don’t listen. He said in young age my mother beat me, I said I will never study. I will always copy. My decision, I will never listen to people. And he said first time when a gurukul kid came, I listened to him and felt so much joy. You all know whom I am talking about – Paramahamsa Bramhaswaupananda! And I am literally married to him whole day and literally this guy lives with me whole day and now only he discovered his pattern that he does not listen. I can understand how Shiva lieves with his bhootas and pretas. When shiva asks his ganas to debate with Daksha’s pundits they forget and …I think Shiva also chooses to keep that kind of people around. Why you know? He lives in such a crazy way. Not like Vishnu. He has morn suprabhata, pada puja, Darshan hours – a very systematic life. Vaikunta is like how I am living now not like how I used to live before – kailasa…kailasa is very clear when he wakes up from samadhi he is in samadhi. When he is in samadhi, he is in samadhi. So there is no routine in kailasa. Who will live in a place where there is no routine. Only bhootas. In my case I try to combine both vaikunta and kailasa. I keep all the bhootas and try to make them educated pundits. The raw material is bhootas and the product I want is pundits! Daksha’s pundits poor fellows they think they are highly educated and come for debate whether dvaita is great or advaita is great. He steps forward and shows one finger or two finger. And this bhootas … If you understand anything after talking to BSP you made your own meaning that’s all. He did not mean anything. Because you are tired and unable to handle anymore, you made your own meaning. Neither you should think it was made by him nor you should think that was made by me. After living around me for so many years and running the organization as my representative and ambassador this fellow suddenly comes to me and says Swamiji I realize why I don’t listen to people. The most difficult job in my life is making BSP listen. But finally he realized! Thanks to this four vedas, this four tatvaas – it is making my life so easy and blissful! No if people get healed when I take the responsibility for them and not giving up on them, I feel so happy. Even if people don’t get healed and keep their differences and remain it is okay. At least I have not given up on them. I will continue to work and won’t give up on them. That itself makes it so joyful and inspires the other person also that they are resp for their suffering. Thanks to four vedas. When the vigour of all the senses in man, is lost by the incompletion of death and constantly pleasures being put in the same incomplete mood, what is the incompletion of death? Means not having a clear idea of what death is going to do to you, what should be your relationship with death and what death means for you is incompletion of death. You should know what all death is going to do after you die, what it brings when it comes, what death will close or open, add or take away. You should have complete clarity. You should have the visa, ticket where you have to go after death. Everything clear, crystal clear – travel plan. When you do not have that, it is a incompletion with death. Now I did the travel agent work only for her. Better do this travel agent work for yourself the moment you become physically mature. Otherwise in course of time see with that incompletion inside, your eating will become over eating. That becomes a big pattern. Seeing becomes over seeing, hearing becomes over hearing. Only today I saw Shilpa walking. Oh God! How big she has become. This Tumkur doctor. You should do Niraahaara. When she stood up I saw oh god! …both of you are responsible for her Niraahaara and her losing weight. How much time you need? 3 months. Okay. Today is Jan 21st – March, April, May- how much weight. Alright today check her BMI. I am 100% sure her BMI is high. Her BMI should co me to lower side of the allowed weight. Both of you guys commit for that? See some incompletion is responsible for the over eating patterns. Now a days I will train the Gurukul kids only. And they will talk to them directly. Now you will see they will manage. Kids are so authentic. Especially this guy is very authentic. He manages Dayananda. You have two guys for weight reduction. Dayananda also should lose weight I told na? by March 10th. For him also he should be on the lower level of the permitted BMI. Then you will become weight reduction specialist I will put all … My kids will become master in psychology and administration. By 18. They will know everything a person need to know for being successful. They will have an amazing body and amazing mind. Especially this one satya – don’t give up on you and don’t give up on people. Amazing satya! God! And … Knowledge is getting into the world of completion of senses. When your senses – indriyas are complete, anything you do will become knowledge, anything you see will become knowledge, anything you taste will become knowledge, anything you listen will become knowledge. But when you are incomplete anything you do will weaken the vigour – “jadayanthi tejaha.” Teja means vigour - the vigour is lost. Your consciousness should have romance with your senses not nagging or arguing with your senses. When you are complete your consciousness will have romance with your senses or it will have nagging with your senses. When I opened up this IA for the ashramites only then I myself realized nine days is not enough for them. So I am going to make many of the ashramites who have done the first batch to come to the next batch. And people who come to next batch I will make them to come to next batch. …9 days is not enough. People carry so much in themselves and me and with others in the sangha…only when I opened this septic tank it is so deep. I thought it is 10 feet. it is 250 feet deep. Anybody wants to attend the 2nd batch of IA who want to become ashramites who completed all your side commitments can apply. Please understand you should be ready to become ashramite the day the 2nd batch is over. But I may or may not ask you to come. I may if I feel there are some responsibilities you need to do in your place, I may ask you to continue with that – Brahmanyam bahu putrataam. So 2nd batch of Brahmanyam bahu putrataam you can email at programs…. even to open up only 20% ashramites have opened up so far. the whole process is like a cocoon becoming a butterfly! Great. Nachiketa says they weaken the vigour of all the senses in man. I think Nachiketa also had the same visualization of what I said it is like a ship floating in the river. Otherwise why should he use the word fleeting. He says all these are like the fleeting …. If the child does it is not silly. If Yama does it is silly. Yesterday one devotee from pondicherry she brought the pongal money for me. In India everyone gets pongal money. So she treats me like one more son in the house including shirt, inner, jeans everything she keeps in front of photograph. And she gives when she comes to ashram. So this pongal, she gives 500 rupee to all children and she gave 500 to me also. She came and gave that to me. She said I don’t know if you take or not. This is the pongal money I gave for you. I accepted with both my hands and said I will buy my groceries with this. I took it gave it in my quarters and said use this for my food directly. This is not silly. It is devotion. It …suddenly kaala bhairava says please have 500 rupee and don’t ask me to give boon or enlightenment. Of course Kaala bhairava does not do it but Yama does it. He says don’t have this, have that golden toilet…feels very silly. I think Nachiketa is very upset….he says you keep it. .. Keep thou thy charitots, dance and music – तवैव वाहाः तव नृत्यगीते - You keep it with you. Here is a famous verse of Bhartrihari, from the vairAgya shatakam, a hundred verses on dispassion where he says: bhoge rogabhayam, kule chyutibhayam, vitte nrupAlAd-bhayam |mAne dainyabhayam, bale ripubhayam, roope jarAyA bhayam |shAstre vAdibhayam, guNe khalabhayam, kAye kRtAntAd-bhayam| sarvam vastu bhayAnvitam bhuvi nRNAm vairAgyameva abhayam || 31 ||

The meaning: In enjoyment, there is the fear of disease; in social position, the fear of falling-off; in wealth, the fear of (hostile) Government (A rule could confiscate excess wealth, or impose very high taxation); in honor, the fear of humiliation; in power, the fear of foemen; in beauty, the fear of old age; in scriptural erudition, the fear of opponents; in virtue, the fear of traducers; in body, the fear of death. All things of this world pertaining to man are attended with fear; renunciation alone stands for fearlessness!! So it is completion as fearlessness. I will translate here everything as incompletion. Completion is vairaagya. If there is a completion in bhoga, roga bhaya will not be there. If there is completion with Kula chyuti bhayaha will not be there. If there is completion in everything, other fears will not be there. Bring in completion. Completion is vairaagya! Vairagya shatakam! What Nachiketa says after saying you keep everything with you, you will see in further satsangs. We will move to the next segment of the morning satsang Dial the Avatar.
