These sutras from Shiva are from the non-technique zone. In this sutra Shiva is trying to change our being without doing. In this technique all you need to do is to remember, You Are in whatever you do. Shiva is teaching us to be aware continuously. Swamiji tells us that if we are surprised by the incidents happening in our lives, it means we are in deep slumber! If you are living in self-remembrance, you will always be moral and ethical.

Annamaya or physical layer conditioning where you only identify yourself with this body, Pranic layer where all your desires reside, 3. Manomaya layer or the layer where most of our conditionings reside, 4. Conditioning related to affiliation to a language, 5. Conditioning related to family (you are father of someone, mother of someone, child of someone, etc). Many a time we miss the truth since we get caught up in these conditionings.

Self remembrance is a powerful tool to to be away from your mind. By unclutching from the different layers of conditioning you will enter into eternal prescence. Swamiji then takes us through a guided meditation for self remembrance.
