Title: Press Meet (Part 1) on Inner Awakening Research and Religious Persecution

Nithyananda's Press Meet (Part 1) on Inner Awakening Research and Religious Persecution 1 Feb 2011

Description:

Paramahamsa Nithyananda addressed his 1st Public PRESS MEET today (1st February 2011) at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, Bidadi Ashram. The groundbreaking results of scientific research conducted on Paramahamsa Nithyananda's Initiation showed an unprecedented 1300% increase in the energy levels. The energy levels can normally raise only to a level of 30% to 40% through performing Exercises, so the raise experienced by the last Inner Awakening program participants was considered very significant.

Apart from this, Paramahamsa Nithyananda answered questions from Media.

Many leading India TV channels carried the PRESS MEET Live.

Part 2 of this video has the Q&A session

Title: Meditation-Magnificent State of Bliss, Patanjali Yoga Sutra 108

Meditation-Magnificent State of Bliss: Patanjali Yoga Sutra 108 Nithyananda Satsang 1-Feb-2011

Description:

Living Incarnation and Avatar Paramahamsa Nithyananda spoke today on the subtle difference in his translation of the Patanjali Yoga sutra about Dhyaan (Meditation) in Ashtanga Yoga. "Raising the frequency to a certain level so that the object on which the meditation is happening and the mediator both lose their boundary and become one.

If you translate Dhyaan in a very ordinary way, as a flow of the mind etc, then you can meditate on anything but that won't make you enlightened. Then what is the use of the meditation? This is one more Sacred secret. The uninterrupted flowing of mind is not Dhyaan. Dhyana is a state in which both lose their boundary. Even if anyone retains this boundary, Enlightenment cannot happen. You can meditate on anything and if the boundary is lost, you can become enlightened."

Paramahamsa Nithyananda explained that this is a subtle difference but a very important difference. This sacred sentiment behind the word Dhyaan should be understood. Boundarylessness is the goal of meditation, rather than the object of the meditation.

"Right understanding of the cosmic law should be had and it will play a major role in the way you think, strategize and run your life," he emphasized.

"Tatra pratyaya - raising the frequency to the level where the object and the mind lose their independent boundaries. If you think Dhyana is concentrating on one object, you will get into a lot of problems. It's like people taking celibacy vows and then how to maintain the celibacy and their image becomes the main focus. This is a perversion. I have seen people getting into perversions in the name of Dhyana. The purpose will be lost. Suffering and irritation can result."

When you raise your frequency, you will have intense joy, peace, and bliss. Not only the mind but the object on which you have been meditating lose their boundary and become one with the ORIGIN FROM WHERE BOTH CAME OUT. Understand this when you do your Dhyana.

Tuesday, February 1, 2011 Prayer. Welcome. Today’s subject is Meditation \- Magnificient state of bliss! I am speaking on Vibhuthi paada 3rd chapter, 2nd verse – 108th sutra of PYS Tatra pratyaya eka taanatat dhyanam Vivek: an unbroken flow of knowledge about that object is dhyana Meditation is an unbroken flow of … towards the object of concentration Sat: dhyana is continuous flow of cognition towards that object Osho: dhyan contemplation is an uninterrupted flow of the mind to the object I will translate this flow of dhyaan as raising the frequency to a certain level. the object on which the meditation is happening and the object that is being meditated upon both of them lose their boundary and become one. I am not just translating - I am giving you the exact meaning. Dhyana means for example, If I am meditation, doing dhyana on this cloth (shows a kerchief) raising the mind to a certain fre1quency where th4e mind and this cloth lose the idea of boundary and they disappear into some space where there is no diff, where there is no 2 exists. It is all about one. Please understand, if you translate dhyana in a very ordinary way like a flow of the mind towards the object in uninterrupted way and all that, it is almost you can come to conclusion if your mind uninterrupted way flows to this kerchief then you are meditating on this kerchief. NO. then you will not move to enlightenment. Then what is the use of meditating on this kerchief. You need to know the exact meaning of the meditation, the word dhyana. Means raising the frequency, where you means the mind and object lose their boundary and become one. Means all oneness is enlightenment. If you meditate on this kerchief, mind loses the boundary is not dhyana – both kerchief and mind losing their boundary and becoming one is dhyana. When you use the word mind flowing unit way towards an object is dhyana, you will make out oh if my mind uninterrupted way flows to this kerchief is dhyana. No. it is not. Dhyana is a state where both the mind and object lose their boundary and become one. Even if one retains their boundary Samadhi cannot happen. If both of them lose the boundary then whatever you meditate on becomes dhyana! There is a story in the traditional literatures of Hinduism. Story of a rishi Bharatha. This rishi was supposed to be a renunciant staying in the banks of a river. But one day he saw a deer dying giving birth to a baby deer. This guy got attached to the baby deer because the deer had no mother, he started taking care. Slowly his attachment to that baby deer grew so much. At the time of his death, he was thinking so much of the deer, he died and came back as the deer! Here the uninterrupted flow of mind of bharata towards one object has happened. but what is the result of that? He has to come back as deer to live with the deer. That is not dhyana. Meditation means where the mind which is meditating and the object which is being meditated, both lose their boundary and you experience Samadhi. One suppressed class person so called untouchable wanted to have initiation and wanted to meditate on God. But the village guru is not interested in initiating him. He said No. So this guy got an idea. He observed Guru every day. Every day morning Guru goes to take bath. One day Guru slipped and fell and said ‘Ram Ram.’ This guy though I will lie down on the step, he will step on me and I will take his feet touching on me as initiation and the word he utters as mantra. Guru is not enlightened guy, so he did not chant the name rama rama with awareness. Now early morning, he was walking, put his foot on this guy’s head, slipped and uttered ‘buffalo.’ The disciple cannot dispute this. He was courageous intelligent guy. He decided to take the word ‘buffalo’ as mantra. He sits with courage, intelligence and confidence – starts raising the frequency of his mind towards the object buffalo. It is not unit flow of the mind. It is raising freq of the mind where the object and the mind both of them lose their boundaries. And he experiences the ultimate. The divine appeared in form of golden buffalo. His mind and buffalo lost their boundary and he experienced the ultimate Samadhi. Then one day during local festival, when in the temple they were taking out the deity, the deity is not coming out. And everyone does not know what to do. This m an looks and says buffalo’s horns are stuck and he raises them and deity comes out! It is a subtle but an important difference. it is a very important truth. This is the sacred secret hidden in this sutra which needs to be revealed. Dhyana is not just your mind flowing uninterrupted way towards an object. NO. dhyana is raising your frequency of the mind to ce4rtaina level where the mind and the object on which your mind is meditating, both of them lose the4ir boundary and merge into oneness. If oneness is not the base, meditation – constantly connecting to one object leads to unconscious ways. That is not going to help you. so, the sacred secret behind the word dhyaan has to be understood so that the right practice can happen. Right understanding of the country law is imp to run the country, of cosmic law is impt to understand the cosmos. A small understanding which is wrong will lead to misery for 1000s of ppl. That is why I say again & again internalize these secrets with lot of care. The way in which you think, work and do the strategy pllaning of your life, wrong strategy is not only dangerous for you, It is dangerous for everybody. Tatra pratyaya eka taanatat dhyanam Cognisene, awareness perceiving. I will tanslate word pratyaya as raising the frequency to the level where the object and the mind lose its independent boundaries. If you think dhyana is concentrating on one object, you will get into lot of disturbances, problems. M any of the western psycho therapists and positive thinkers face lot of problems. If you see their personal life they are filled with depression and have one more worry of how to stop worrying. It is like ppl who take sanyas and take celibacy vow and after few years they struggle how to maintain celibacy vow rather than becoming enlightened. (train to delhi, you attached to train and prob becomes you being in the train rather than reaching delhi!) I have seen people getting perverted in the name of dhyaan. That is the most sad part. The purpose is lost. It is really sad. I have see these people, in the name of dhyaan all kinds of foolish ideas being taught. Understand, flowing towards a certain object can never be called dhyaan. That can lead to restlessness. Raising your mind where mind and object loses its boundary is dhyaan – where you have intense joy, peace and bliss. Normally if you meditate if you concentrate on just some object, what will happen? Your mind will max become that object. But your mind is not created by that object so even if it becomes that object it will not feel settled and peaceful. So when will your mind feel the moksha, Samadhi, homely? Sama adhi = becoming the source. If I raise my mind to certain frequency wehre not only my mind but the object also loses its boutndary then the sama adhi happens. so the understanding about dhyaana should be proper so that we can exp the next step Samadhi. Even if you are put in Samadhi means in Sanskrit we use this word --- being buried is also called Samadhi. If you don’t understand the word dhyaana properly even if you are …. The sacred secret you need to und in this sutra is raise the freq of your mind to level where not only the mind but even object which is meditated lose their boundary and both become one with the frequency from where BOTH came out from. That is what will give the eternal homliness – Samadhi – sama adhi means becoming one with the source. I want you to contemplate on this one idea. This one sacred secret can solve many of your problems. Becos whole day, you are concentrating on something. If you concentrate with this idea then your whole life will become Nithya Dhyana. Otherwise even if your Nithya Dhyana will be useless. I request you all to have this understanding in yoru dhyaana. Blessings!
