Muthuswami Siddhar of Nadu Pazhani
The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism has named Muthuswami Siddhar of Nadu Pazhani as one of the revered acharyas who guided Him at a young age during His divine childhood, as well as after that when He started the revival of KAILASA.
Muthuswami Siddhar constructed the Dhandayuthapani Murugan Temple located in Nadu Pazhani. It is said that Muthuswami Siddhar had the life-like vision of Lord Muruga Himself who started construction of the temple Himself. As soon as he realized he had the darshan of Muruga Himself, the humbled Muthuswami Siddhar continued the construction until it was complete.
Today, Muthuswami Siddhar's Jeeva samadhi is worshipped in this temple itself and offered regular rituals.
