Gurupoornima Celebrations

On the occassion of Guru Poornima on July 5, 2001, the very first Guru Poornima which His Divine Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam after The First Great Pause, His Divine Holiness conducted the Guru Homa. He first offered His reverence and worship to Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the great Incarnation after whom HDH named the very first aadheenam, Ramakrishna Dhyanapeetam. Then, He conducted the Guru Homa. A few devotees were also able to offer Pratyaksha Paada Puja on this day. Then, His Divine Holiness blessed each visitor with His powerful initiation and the opportunity to offer Guru Dakshina during the auspicious time of Guru Poornima. This process of Guru Dakshina is when devotees can surrender their karma at the feet of the Guru and the Guru relieves and liberates each person.
