Original Verse

नुब्जां सरत्ःअमासनं कृत्वा पादतलाभ्य्ं भूमिमवष्टभ्य उत्तिष्ठेत् खड्डगासनं भवति ॥४१॥

Transliteration

nubjāṃ saratḥamāsanaṃ kṛtvā pādatalābhyṃ bhūmimavaṣṭabhya uttiṣṭhet khaḍḍagāsanaṃ bhavati ॥41॥


Translation

After performing Saratha Asana which involves lying prostrate, get up holding the ground with two soles (of the feet). This is called Khadgasana. 41.

Steps/Technique

1. Stand with the feet together. 2. Lean forward and extend the arms forward.
