Pongal festivals
The celebration of Pongal festivals at KAILASA Salem was conducted as a sacred nithyotsavam—a continuous offering and ritual—which holds deep significance within the Hindu calendar. Pongal, traditionally a harvest festival, is dedicated to offering gratitude to Surya (the Sun God) and Bhumi Devi (Mother Earth) for the sustenance they provide. Under the divine guidance of THE SPH, these rituals are performed meticulously according to authentic Hindu Agama practices, ensuring that the participants are connected to the true spiritual essence of the festival and the civilizational roots of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
The detailed Hindu rituals performed for the Pongal celebrations included traditional offerings, sacred chants, and specialized practices aimed at invoking divine blessings for prosperity, health, and spiritual growth. The profound spiritual technologies utilized during the event, as gifted by THE SPH, enabled devotees to connect with the source of Paramashiva’s grace and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
The organization and execution of this sacred ritual were supported by the dedication of one devoted volunteer, who ensured the smooth and flawless completion of the traditional sequence. This sacred activity successfully enriched the lives of 10 participants, providing them with a profound spiritual experience rooted in ancient Hindu tradition. The celebration of Pongal festivals exemplifies KAILASA's commitment to the revival of ancient Hindu traditions worldwide, anchoring communities in their spiritual heritage and fostering global consciousness awakening.
