With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOUSTON USA celebrated the auspicious occasion of UGADI on Saturday, March 29, 2025. This significant event marked the Hindu New Year as per the lunar calendar, symbolizing a divine opportunity for spiritual renewal and superconscious breakthrough for all devotees. The primary celebration focused on a profound Bhagawan Venkateshwara Thirumanjanam offered to Sri Ananda Venkateshwara, invoking blessings for prosperity, joy, and fulfillment in the incoming year. Dedicated efforts by 5 volunteers facilitated the sacred ritual, which was devoutly witnessed by 5 participants, reinforcing KAILASA's global mission of reviving Sanatana Hindu Dharma and manifesting the enlightened state for humanity.
UGADI CELEBRATIONS and Bhagawan Venkateshwara Thirumanjanam
The sacred observance of UGADI, the Hindu New Year, was ceremoniously conducted at KAILASA HOUSTON USA on March 29, 2025, celebrating the advent of the new cycle according to the Hindu lunar calendar. This festival offers a powerful spiritual window for devotees to reset their consciousness, discard old patterns, and align themselves with the divine grace of THE SPH. The celebration was dedicated to Sri Ananda Venkateshwara, the presiding deity, recognizing His vital role in bestowing auspiciousness, fulfillment, and material as well as spiritual abundance at the inception of the new year.
The core of the celebration was the Bhagawan Venkateshwara Thirumanjanam, a powerful and deeply moving sacred bathing ritual (Seva) offered to the deity, Sri Ananda Venkateshwara. This special Thirumanjana Seva involved devotional offerings, including sacred Milk and Turmeric, which are known to carry immense spiritual potency for purification, blessing, and the attraction of divine energies. This ancient Hindu ritualistic practice ensures that the environment and the consciousness of the participants are saturated with the auspicious vibrations needed for a successful year ahead, full of growth and prosperity.
