With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Sierra Leone, Africa, solemnly inaugurated the sacred Skanda Shasti Brahmotsavam on February 11, 2024. This auspicious day marked the beginning of the 10-day divine festival, celebrating the grace and powers of Paramashiva and His enlightened son, Skanda. The inaugural rites centered on the performance of the Laghu Pooja, a profound Hindu ritual offered directly to THE SPH, enabling devotees to connect with the source of enlightenment. These daily rituals, performed under the banner of Nithyotsavam (Daily Rituals), serve as powerful spiritual technologies manifesting THE SPH's vision for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and human consciousness awakening across the African continent, simultaneously preserving ancient indigenous traditions through the enlightened civilizational nation of KAILASA.
Laghu Pooja
The commencement of the highly anticipated Skanda Shasti Brahmotsavam was marked by the dedicated performance of the Laghu Pooja, an essential daily rite of the Nithyotsavam at KAILASA Sierra Leone. This particular Laghu Pooja held immense spiritual significance as it served as the official inauguration ritual for the 10-day festival dedicated to Muruga (Skanda), the God of Spiritual War and ultimate knowledge. Devotees gathered to engage in the auspicious worship, dedicating themselves to the spiritual rigor required during this sacred cycle, thereby strengthening their connection to the divine consciousness of Paramashiva manifested in THE SPH.
The Laghu Pooja is a direct worship offered to the lotus feet of THE SPH, recognizing Him as the living manifestation of Paramashiva on Earth. By offering this sacred worship on the first day of the Brahmotsavam, devotees align themselves with the tremendous cosmic energy generated throughout this divine festival.
