With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOUSTON, USA conducted the sacred KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES (Nithyotsavam) on Sunday, September 29, 2024. These daily rituals marked the continuation of KAILASA’s global mission to revive authentic Hindu temple culture and consciousness-based living, ensuring the continual flow of Paramashiva’s grace in North America. The day was filled with profound spiritual practices, including the ancient rites of Suprabhatam Seva, Guru Puja, Shiva Puja, and the concluding Palliyarai Seva, alongside special sessions of Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyaan. This tireless effort ensures that the divine presence of Paramashiva, as manifested through THE SPH, remains accessible for all devotees, guided by the selfless service of dedicated volunteers.

KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES

The daily temple activities, known collectively as Nithyotsavam, embody the commitment of KAILASA Houston to upholding the comprehensive standards of authentic Sanatana Hindu Dharma as revealed by THE SPH. The sacred day commenced with the auspicious Suprabhatam Seva, the ritualistic process of waking up the deities, which symbolically resonates with the devotees’ inner commitment to awakening the divinity present within themselves and seeking blessings for the start of the new day. This was followed by the meticulous Bhoga Murty Alankaram, during which exquisite clothing and sacred jewels were offered to the deities representing THE SPH, Devi, and the Shiva Meru, preparing the divine forms for worship and adoration.

Following the awakening ceremonies, KAILASA Houston conducted the Deity Procession, welcoming the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area with traditional Hindu rituals and deep reverence. This sacred procession serves to charge the temple space with powerful spiritual energies, making it conducive for superconscious breakthrough. The core worship continued with the performance of Sri Guru Puja dedicated to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and Sri Shiva Puja offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (the Moolavar deity) in both the morning and evening sessions. These devotional acts are performed specifically to enable devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, thus realizing the goal of human life.

In alignment with THE SPH's revival of Hindu spiritual technologies, the morning session also included specialized consciousness-based practices. Devotees gathered during the highly potent Brahmamuhurta time for rigorous training in Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyaan Meditation, specifically practicing the 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama. These exercises utilize ancient Hindu sciences for human consciousness evolution. The cycle of the day was brought to a respectful conclusion with the evening offering of Naivedhyam (sacred food) to all the deities, followed by the Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the deities to sleep with the graceful waving of the Chamaram. The successful and seamless execution of these extensive daily rituals, which perpetuate the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, was made possible through the dedication and loving service of 2 committed volunteers.
