The day centered around the auspicious observance of the Sasti abhisekam, a sacred event dedicated to invoking the grace of Lord Muruga (Subrahmanya). Sasti abhisekam
The Sasti abhisekam ceremony, celebrated as part of the Nithyotsavam (daily festive rituals) at KAILASA Salem, marked the sacred observance of Sasti Vrata. This highly auspicious Hindu observance falls on the sixth day (Shashti) of the waxing moon and is dedicated wholly to Lord Muruga, who embodies divine courage, wisdom, and the dissolution of obstacles.
