The Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA extending its Sister City Partnership with the Prince Valley Community of Solomon Islands

🎊🎊 Wonderful News! The Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA is delighted to announce extending its Sister City Partnership with the Prince Valley Community of Solomon Islands.

Prince Valley community is located in Panatina Ward of East Honiara Constituency. The community is occupied mainly by the people of Lau lagoon of Malaita province.

The people of Lau lagoon are known for their fishing abilities, skills and knowledge. Upon their arrival on the island of Guadalcanal in the early 1960s, they settled along the coast of Honiara. With their fishing background, they called their settlement Fishing village or Fishery village. The people of Fishing village relocated to a state-owned parcel of land in 2012. The relocation happened during the time Prince William and Kate visited Solomon Islands in 2012. Hence, this settlement is called the Prince Valley Community. We thank the Community and the Chairperson Mr. Patrick Balou Wilson, and look forward to a long lasting, strong and thriving mutually beneficial Partnership for years to come.

Kailasa's Department of Human Services and Department of religion will offer Maheswara puja as per Hindu tradition on 6th Jan 2023.
