Today is the sixth day of Nithyanandotsavam - the celebration of the 45th Jayanthi, i.e. the 45th anniversary of the happening of THE Avatar, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagadguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness, Bhagavaan Nithyananda Paramashivam - the nijaavataaraa, the 1008th incarnation of Paramashiva who has descended to give superconscious breakthrough to humanity. Nithyanandotsavam is being celebrated all over KAILASA - the first nation for all Hindus worldwide.

Today, the Utsava Vigraha of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam is gracing us in the Leela Alankaram of Sri Arunagiri Yogishwara, Paramashiva Himself, happening in the life of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism. as His Guru and giving the Supreme Pontiff the experience of “Advaita Anubhuti”, Oneness with Him.

Arunagiri Yogishwara is the embodiment of Paramashiva, the Ultimate Superconsciousness, whose Advent on the Planet Earth was an answer to the prayers of the millions of dearly devoted people who pray to Him and seek solace in their undying faith towards Him in their darkest hours. The embodiment of Paramashiva, in the form of Arunagiri Yogishwara, never ceases to exist even until today as He resides within the sacred Arunachala Hill itself, with all the many millions of beings who have attained the state of Maha Kailasa and sought to spend the rest of eternity living with him.

In the Life of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism In around 1988, when the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism was the age of ten years old, Arunagiri Yogishwara gave Darshan to the young Incarnation and manifested the sweetest, most desirable guru-disciple relationship for a nine month period. Upon the climax of this most sublime leela in the divine life of The Avatar, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism experienced the complete Oneness with His guru, known as the Advaita Anubhuti experience, and permanently became established in the space of Unclutching. Therefore, millions of Kailashians across the world, who revere The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism as their own Guru and as the incarnation of Arunagiri Yogishwara Himself, are initiated into the same space of Unclutching through this leela of the divine guru-disciple relationship.

In the journey of a seeker toward the ultimate experience of Enlightenment, the need of a Guru is absolutely crucial. In the words of the Supreme Pontiff, “The highest cognition is not that Guru is God, but God is Guru. When a seeker’s yearning reaches its ultimate peak, God Himself appears in his life as Guru, to make him experience God. God is the State of the Guru. Guru is the statement of God.”

In Verse 122 of the Guru Gita, Paramashiva beautifully declares:

na gurōradhikaṃ na gurōradhikaṃ na gurōradhikaṃ na gurōradhikam । śivaśāsanataḥ śivaśāsanataḥ śivaśāsanataḥ śivaśāsanataḥ ॥ 122 ॥

“There is none higher than Guru. There is none higher than Guru. There is none higher than Guru. There is none higher than Guru. This is Shiva’s ordainment. This is Shiva’s ordainment. This is Shiva’s ordainment. This is Shiva’s ordainment.”

Through this grand and divine enactment, this Leela of Guru-Disciple Relationship, where Paramashiva Himself plays the role of Guru and He Himself plays the role as the disciple, the ultimate principle of the Guru Tattva becomes alive and vibrant enough to initiate any conscious being into living that very principle. It is a living scripture, describing the multi-dimensional play of the Supreme Consciousness, Paramashiva.

Not only does this divine leela emphasize the need for Guru in the journey towards Enlightenment, it elaborates on the most ideal interaction between Guru and Disciple. Such an understanding and transmission of the most highest Truths is possible only between the perfect Guru, Arunagiri Yogishwara, Paramashiva Himself, and the perfect disciple, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam. Thus, He decided that through the divine leela of The Avatar, He would gift the world with this beautiful experience, which millions of souls are waiting and yearning to experience after lifetimes of deep and intense seeking for the answer to their prayers.

Prana Pratishtha - Arunagiri Yogishwara Mandapam

Here, in Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam, at Adi Kailasa Sarvajnapeetham, an exact stone replica of the Arunagiri Yogishwara Mandapam in the Arunachaleshwara Temple in Tiruvannamalai has been constructed, which symbolizes the divine leela of Guru-Disciple Relationship that happened between Sri Arunagiri Yogishwara and the young Supreme Pontiff. This mandapam in Tiruvannamalai is a Cosmic gateway to Maha Kailasa, and it is in this mandapam itself that Sri Arunagiri Yogishwara held the young Supreme Pontiff by his hand and transported Him to Maha Kailasa, where He Himself tied the kaavi - the ochre robe around the young Supreme Pontiff’s waist and initiated Him into Sannyas.

Through this grand and divine enactment, this Leela, where Paramashiva Himself plays the role of Guru and He Himself plays the role as the disciple, the ultimate principle of the Guru Tattva is alive and vibrant enough to initiate any conscious being into living that very principle. It is a living scripture, describing the multi-dimensional play of the Supreme Consciousness in this leela.
