Pradosha Kaala is the period of time during which Lord Shiva is known to perform Ananda Thandava (ecstatic cosmic dance) on top of Lord Nandi, His Rishabha Vahana. During Pradosham, Lord Shiva is known to be in the most ecstatic of moods as he has been successful in saving mankind from the ill effects of the Halahala Poison. His Ananda Thandava blesses all the three worlds and the Devathas in turn pray to him. Lord Shiva is known to be very generous giving away Vardhan (boons) and blessings for all.

During Pradosha Kaala, Lord Nandi (the sacred bull of Shiva) in all the Shiva temples is worshipped.

On the auspicious occasion, Kailasa Houston offered SHANI PRADOSHAM Pujas with Guru Puja, Shiva Puja, & Nandi Abhishekam. Worshipping Lord Nandi & Shiva during this time brings us prosperity and happiness in life.

Every Saturday, for 250+ weeks, the Sangha Jananis perform the Thiru Vilakku (Lamp) Puja.

‘Vilakku’ (Lamp) is the symbol of Devi Maha Lakshmi, the Deity of Abundance and Prosperity.

Light Symbolizes God, and Knowledge. Oil or Ghee Symbolizes Vasanas / Negative Tendencies. Wick Symbolizes Ego - It Exhausts Slowly Just As Ego in Us Has To Burn & Perish. Higher Ideals are Indicated By the Lamp Burning Upwards

The worshipping of Devi Lakshmi during Vilakku puja brings auspiciousness for ourselves, our extended family & in turn the whole world.
