On this day, during the Arulmigu Chandrasudeshwarar Maragathabigai temple car festival in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India, with the blessings of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, Kailasa in Hosur organized Annadhaanam, serving free organic vegetarian sattvik meals to devotees visiting the temple festival.
Nearly 1700 people were served Annadhaan on this auspicious occasion. Delicacies served to the devotees included: 1. Sarkarai pongal 2. Sambarsatham 3. Thayersatham 4. Neermore (to around 200 people)
