HDH Bhagawan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, lovingly referred to as Swamiji went on an 'Ananda Ula' (Blissful tour) in various places in Tamilnadu, giving free discourses under the banner 'Kadavai Thira Katru varattum', conducting meditation programs, visiting and energizing homes and visiting temples. People gathered in large numbers everyday to listen to Swamiji's talks on Spirituality and other issues related to everyday life.

The Chennai leg of the tour happened between 13th and 19th of October 2004.

Swamiji delivered profound Satsangs in Chennai as part of this programme. Essence of Swamiji's discourses at the Satsangs in Chennai:

Nazhuvum Nijangal (Eluding Truths) "If there is one statement that all religions and all Enlightened Masters agree upon undisputedly, it is 'Be still and know that You are the Truth'. However, man is caught up in the endless chatter that goes on inside him, in the endless comparisons, imagination and judgements, that this Ultimate Truth eludes him. If man drops his preconceptions and welcomes every moment without applying judgement to it, he will realise that the Truth is in him..."

Ingeye! Ippozhude! Idileye! (Here and Now!) "Man is always oscillating between regrets from the past and worries about the future. He fails to live in the moment. Where his body is, his mind is most often not. Man makes money thinking about the future and by the time he accumulates enough wealth, he loses his inherent nature to enjoy it. Our body and mind are always in different planes. When the two are synchronised and man starts living in the moment, Existence co-operates completely in performing every little task on hand and man attains fulfilment..."

On 13 Oct, the first issue of the monthly Tamil magazine, 'Anandam Anandam' was released by the former Director of Doordarshan, Mr.A.Natarajan and the first copy received by the famous Industrialist Dr.Nalli Kuppusamy Chetty, at a small function at the start of the satsang.
