Guru Purnima is one of the most auspicious days of the year to show your gratitude for Swamiji's presence in your life and to offer puja where you are liberated from lifetimes of Karma by the Guru and receive His blessings.

We celebrated Guru Purnima over 10 days - or Brahmotsavam (June 25 - July4). The celebrations began with the Mandagapadi, traditional vedagamic welcome and respects given to Swamiji, followed by the Dwajarohanam or flag-hoisting ceremony.

On this Auspicious Celebration of GuruPurnima, we performed sacred rituals of Gurumudi offerings. Offering of Gurumudi symbolizes the surrender of one’s ego and karma. This observance purifies one's energy at all levels and prepares for quantum entanglement with Paramashiva who has incarnated as our Guru, His Divine Holiness Bhagawan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam.

The Truth is that we, each one of us, are Paramashiva. It is our ego - ahankara and mamakara - that makes us cognize us as different from Paramashiva.

When karma and ego gets washed out, we will be able to powerfully manifest anything that we want by manifesting the state, space, powers, being and Super Consciousness of Paramashiva.

At our Temple, we offered Gratitude on this sacred day to our Guru in his Nijavatara - Incarnation of ParamaShiva in Human form and a multitude of Archavatara (deities at our Temple in San Jose Aadheenam). There were multiple seva opportunities for everyone to offer on this day.

Schedule of offerings during this Brahmotsavam- June 25 - Sri Ganesha Puja June 26 - Devi Mahalakshmi Abhishekam and Puja June 27 - Sri Dakshinamurthy Abhishekam and Puja June 28 - Nithyanandeshwara and Devi along with ShivLinga Abhishekam and Puja June 29 - Devi Meenakshi Puja June 30 - Mrityujaya Puja July 1 - Shiv Surya Puja July 2 - Sri Venkateshwara Puja July 3 - Sri Subramanya Abhishekam and Puja July 4 (Guru Purnima Day) - Ellam Valla Siddhar Puja and Sahasranama Puja

As a part of our GRAND GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATIONS - we also conducted a very special DHANAKARSHANA BHAIRAVA MANTRA CHANTING SESSION everyday. Chanting the powerful Dhanakarshana Bhairava Mantra for AWAKENING THE WEALTH CONSCIOUSNESS!!
