Paramashivaratri is the most auspicious night to realize "Paramashivoham," to BE Paramashiva! On this night, an explosion of super-conscious energy happens on our planet. Hindu cosmology traces this explosion back to the Big Bang, the moment of the creation of our universe. In the sacred Hindu text Arunachala Purana, this momentous happening is depicted as the Lord Paramashiva (symbol of cosmic energy) taking the form of an endless shaft of light spanning earth and sky. Every year, by a fortunate alignment of cosmic forces, a tiny reflection of the same explosion happens on our planet on this night. This is the best opportunity available on the planet to get soaked into the bliss of being Paramashiva! ParamaShivaratri at Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple San Jose Aadheenam invited friends and family to receive Blessings from the Living Avatar, His Divine Holiness, Bhagawan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam and to participate in the Paramashivaratri Celebrations. By the Grace and Blessings of His Divine Holiness, Bhagavan Paramahamsa Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, ParamaShivaratri Celebrations began with great excitement and bhakti here in Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple, Kailaasa in San Jose Aadheenam. The celebrations began with the offering of MahaRudrabhishekam to ParamaShiva at four different jaamas with an offering of different Alankarams totaling five to our beloved Lord ParamaShiva. Devotees offered Puja to Ellam Valla Siddhar, expressing deep gratitude, Kirtans - Chants and Bhajans were offered and so was Bharata Natyam to Lord Shiva followed by all the devotees taking part in expressing joy through Kirtans, in between the Maharudrabhishekams, Power Manifestations through the Third Eye were also expressed. Mahaprasada was served in the form of liquids and solid food to the beloved devotees.
