Title:

Ashtanga Yoga: Ahimsa & Global Peace - Patanjali Yoga Sutras 86: Nithyananda Satsang 19 Dec 2010

Narration:

The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, expounded on the Cosmic Principle of Being established in Truth during the everyday live public talk - Nithyananda Satsang. In this talk entitled Non-violence door to Global Peace!, His Divine Holiness expanded on Patanjali Yoga Sutra 86th sutra, 2nd chapter 35th verse. He explained that if someone is established in Ahimsa non-violence, in his very presence all the hostility will completely disappear. He shared many powerful truths and cognitions one of which explained that in anything you are established all the people you come in contact with are bound to feel it. His Divine Holiness beautifully explained the powerful truth which is that we are not islands as we think and took everyone back to an experience He had at the end of the year 2000, when He was staying near a small village on a hill which helped all understand the power of being established in the Truth. He went on to share several powerful cognitions giving descriptive explanations of various mystical incidences in His life - “This whole world is the mirror”…. Context is not a dead word, it is a living independent intelligence”......“Non-violence is the ultimate shield and strategy” and “Non-violence is a powerful energy which can bend air.” His Divine Holiness concluded today’s Satsang with this beautiful reminder and message “ Understand, establish yourself in the non-violence – ahimsa. You will simply see and radiate the joy and bliss in your very presence all the violence will disappear.”
