It was in 1985 that the maternal grandfather of SPH, Raju Mudaliar, gifted him with a small brass deity of the Hindu Goddess Annapoorneshwari, the presiding Goddess of food to who till today is first offered all the food cooked in all defacto spiritual embassies of KAILASA across the world. Raju Mudaliar thatha (grand-father in tamil language) gifted this to SPH after a trip to the sacred town of Varanasi (Kashi) where she is enshrined in the Sri Annapurna Temple when SPH was 7 years old. The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism continues to offer worship to this deity in His personal worship until today.
