Description:

Today the divine marriage of Shiva and Devi, in their incarnation as Lord Sundareshwara and Goddess Meenakshi, was celebrated in a grand way at the ashram, with six married couples tying the knot again in Paramahamsa Nithyananda’s presence on this auspicious occasion. As the divine couple had ruled over the Pandya kingdom in Tamil Nadu, the marriage ceremony was conducted in the traditional Pandya style. Addressing the ‘newly-married’ couples on this occasion, Paramahamsa Nithyananda revealed that the marriage would be the beginning of a new reality in their relationship with each other and with themselves. The wedding was followed by a traditional Madurai wedding lunch.
