With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem observed the sacred Sukravara Abhishekam on August 15, 2024. This auspicious day of service (seva) and ritual was dedicated to the worship of the Divine, utilizing ancient Hindu traditions to purify the environment and elevate the consciousness of devotees. The Abhishekam rituals, incorporating potent Vedic mantras and sacred substances, served as a profound spiritual technology, enabling the community to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. These activities reinforce KAILASA's global mission for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and the preservation of Hindu sciences, ensuring peace and prosperity for all beings.
Sukravara Abhishekam
The Sukravara Abhishekam is a powerful weekly Hindu ritual performed on Fridays, a day traditionally dedicated to the worship of the Divine Mother and for invoking material and spiritual prosperity. This sacred seva at KAILASA Salem embodies the profound spiritual technologies gifted by THE SPH to ensure the continuous flow of divine grace and auspiciousness within the ecosystem and for the benefit of all humanity. The rigorous performance of the ritual, which also incorporated elements of horticulture through the use of fresh produce and flowers, focuses on purifying and energizing the sacred space, aligning the local environment with the higher frequencies of Paramashiva.
During the Abhishekam, the deity is meticulously bathed with a sequence of sacred substances, each holding potent symbolic and alchemical significance as outlined in the Hindu scriptures. Offerings included traditional items such as milk (representing purity and longevity), honey (representing sweet speech and abundance), tender coconut water, sandalwood paste, turmeric powder, and rose water (representing bliss and cooling energy).
