RUDRA HOMA

DESCRIPTION

Inner Awakening Participants were witness to their first sacred Vedic Homa during the program: Rudra Homa.

Rudra homa is a powerful homa or fire ritual for cleansing the system of all deep-rooted disorders. The homa is performed to invoke the grace of Rudra, one of the many energies of Shiva.

The Science of Homa is a Vedic ritual which helps us connect to the fire element, one of the five major elements in Nature. Homa is performed by lighting the sacred fire and using selected sacred materials, and through prayer and visualization, the Cosmic energy is invoked into the homa fire. The fire is energized by chanting mantras, allowing the energy to spiral upward and outward into the surrounding environment. Performing homas cleanse and rejuvenates the environment by allowing an abundant inflow of prana (life-force) into the atmosphere.
