Sharada Devi, the spiritual consort of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, is worshiped and revered as the incarnation of Parashakti by THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.

The gopuram, witnessing Vellaiammal's sacrifice, stands in her memory to this day.
