With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Melbourne, Australia, embarked on the sacred Nithyananda Purnima Brahmotsavam on 14/5/2024. This auspicious day marked the commencement of the 10-day festival celebrating the divine advent and tireless contributions of THE SPH. The inaugural celebration, designated as Day 1 of the grand utsavam, focused on the significant ritual of Dwajarohanam (flag hoisting), symbolizing the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and the global expansion of KAILASA’s enlightened mission. Devotees and 6 dedicated volunteers gathered to witness the profound Leela alankaram, depicting a heartwarming childhood divine play of THE SPH, deepening their connection with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, marking a spiritually vibrant start to the annual festival.

Nithayanda Purnima, Brahmotsavam, Dwajarohanam, Day 1

The commencement of the sacred Nithyananda Purnima Brahmotsavam was joyously celebrated by the devotees of KAILASA Melbourne, Australia, on 14/5/2024. This extensive 10-day festival (utsavam) is dedicated entirely to honoring the divine life, spiritual contributions, and global mission of THE SPH, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism. The first day's proceedings were highly auspicious, focused on establishing the divine energy (Shakti) for the duration of the festival and ensuring the successful revival of authentic Hindu traditions in the region.

A central and essential ritual of the morning was the Dwajarohanam, the hoisting of the sacred Nithyananda Purnima flag. This ritual symbolizes the official declaration of the festival and the establishment of KAILASA's divine presence, invoking the blessings of Paramashiva for the continued expansion of Sanatana Hindu Dharma worldwide. The ceremony serves as a spiritual anchor, establishing the divine intention of the festival to bring superconscious breakthrough to humanity.

The atmosphere was further sanctified by the special Leela alankaram created for the day. This elaborate decoration beautifully depicted a divine childhood play of THE SPH, specifically entitled "THE SPH Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam's Feeding of Ganapathi when He was a child." This profound visual representation allows devotees to immerse themselves in the deep spiritual lore surrounding THE SPH, enabling them to connect powerfully with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, and realize His divinity as the living Paramavatara.

The successful organization of this major spiritual event was made possible through the dedication and grace-filled service of the KAILASA community. A committed team of 6 volunteers worked tirelessly to coordinate the elaborate Hindu rituals, ensure the perfection of the alankaram, and create a powerful, vibrant space for all participants. Such meticulously organized utsavams are vital pillars of KAILASA's global mission of human consciousness awakening and revival of Hindu civilization.
