Nithyanandam - 15 Dec 2005 to 1 Jan, 2006 Nithyanandam was a 15-day unique and intense meditation camp that Swamiji conducted in the ashram in Bangalore. Through this program, Swamiji works directly upon the cancerous tumours of ego in each and every participant, making them intensely aware of the various forms of ego deeply hidden in them. Swamiji continuously puts the participants through multi-various activities like discourse and meditation, worship, or Ananda Seva (blissful service), during which he churns their whole Being and continuously purifies them. The core message of the program in Swamiji's words is: Man is by nature made up of un-clutched, abstract, unconnected, irrational and illogical thoughts. Each thought arises in him and dies before the next thought comes. But he tries to connect similar thoughts and form shafts of either pain or pleasure and because of this he suffers. Clutching into this shaft is the Original Sin. This clutching is the root cause that is preventing man from experiencing the liberated or enlightened state while living on planet Earth. To be un-clutched from this shaft at all times is the greatest liberation for man.
Through this technique of un-clutching from the shaft of thoughts, Swamiji creates an inner space in each and everyone, to discover their inherent nature, which is nothing but silence and bliss. He teaches one to play the game of Life with spontaneity and joy, centered in this inner space and functioning effortlessly at the periphery.
