This pandemic is a wake up call for Hindus all around the to come to a conclusion on the never ending diatribe of whether we should adopt a Vegetarian or a Non vegetarian based diet.

HINDUISM : VEG OR NON-VEG ?

SHRIKAILASA , spearheaded by the Supreme pontiff of Hinduism Jagadguru Mahasannidhanam HDH Nithyananda Paramashivam, is conducting it's first ever democratic voting system for Hindus. A lot of debates have been pivoted on this topic - can a Hindu eat meat?

SHRIKAILASA is presenting you with all the necessary content required to make your decision because we believe in responsible democracy where we educate the voters on the topic that is being voted upon. Keeping this in mind, we have presented everything starting with the statistics of studies done by researchers to the authentic shastra pramanas and cosmic revelations. We hope we have been able to empower you in our humble attempt to enable you to make a conscious powerful decision on this fundamentally important matter and cast your valuable vote on.

The Principal Question to be voted on: Do you want non-vegetarian food to be kept as an option for Hindus regularly, or even ritualistically, or should it not be an option for Hindus, should it be completely stopped

Bhagavan' words on Carbon Footprint:

"Largest carbon footprint released on the Planet Earth is neither by automobiles nor by army industry. It is by non-veg dairies - dairy industry! It is not by atomic weapons, it is not by automobile industries, it is not by anything else - it is by dairies and leather industry means non-veg production industry. Understand, when a grain grows, directly you eat that, is organic lifestyle. But you feed that to a life and grow muscles and do not care about that life and cut that into pieces and eat.... What logic?!! Where are we heading?!"

3) TOXIC CHEMICALS

The EPA estimates that nearly 95 percent of the pesticide residue in the typical American diet comes from meat, fish and dairy products. Fish, in particular, contain carcinogens (PCBs, DDT) and heavy metals (mercury, arsenic, lead, cadmium) that can't be removed through cooking or freezing. Our scriptures like the Manusmriti send a clear warning against eating fish.

A vegetarian diet is not only good for one’s personal health; it’s also good for the nation’s economy. Five diet-related chronic diseases cost the U.S. economy a staggering $1 trillion each year!  This is an estimate of direct medical costs and the indirect impact of productivity losses due to illness and premature death associated with chronic heart disease and stroke, obesity, cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis.

DIET & SPIRITUALITY
 +
All human beings who are seeking the spiritual life should live a vegetarian lifestyle. If one understands this truth – ‘You become what you eat, what you eat becomes you’ – one can see very clearly how the non vegetarian food adversely impacts the bio-memory and muscle-memory, and how vegetarian food comes to you with higher intelligence like producing energy directly from ether, air and space, and going to become part of you.”
 +

 +
Non vegetarian food destroys all possibilities of manifesting powers and awakening the Third Eye. All powers manifest from Oneness with Sadashiva. Non vegetarianism is completely opposite to the principle of Oneness. When operating from Oneness with the Whole, one cannot even think of killing another being for a snack! The depressed bio-memory of the killed animals, when ingested, does not allow the body and mind to settle with higher experiences and elevated states of consciousness. It continues to keep the body and mind in binding, depressing thought currents.
 +

 +
Even if you are a seeker, without vegetarian lifestyle you will not achieve anything. Vegetarian lifestyle is a basic need. Not only vegetarian lifestyle, not eating anything grown out of chemicals, pesticides, fertilisers. Try to become more and more organic because, chemicals create a toxic mental setup in your system. I am giving you the straight conclusions - try to become more and more natural, organic consumer. It is good for your seeking, good for your mental balance, good for you, over all it is good for your enlightenment and manifesting all these powers.”

DIET IMPACTS PANDEMIC OUTBREAKS!
 +
About 77 billion land animals and trillions of marine ones are killed every year to feed human beings. These animals are born and raised in overcrowded spaxea where they are forced to spend the remaining of their lives in unhygenic places and later taken to dirty slaughterhpuse where they are brutally buthered. These factory farms  house chickens, cows—even fish—and other animals by the thousands or sometimes by the millions, confining them to cages, crates or stalls barely larger than their own bodies or to severely crowded tanks or sheds. Antibiotics help factory farms stay in business, since packed, filthy conditions mean diseases can spread quickly and result in high mortality. Antibiotic overuse makes factory farms perfect breeding grounds for superbugs—new, aggressive pathogens such as CoVid-19 pathogen.
 +

 +
Almost every known epidemic disease to plague humans originated in animals. These diseases that originate in animals are called zoonotic diseases, which span through history: The Rinderpest virus of cattle gave us measles; domesticated pigs gave us whooping cough; domesticated ducks produced influenza; and chickens hatched typhoid fever.

The CDC reports that food-borne illnesses of all kinds account for 76 million illnesses a year, resulting in 325,000 hospitalizations and 5,000 deaths in the United States. According to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), foods rich in protein such as meat, poultry, fish and seafood are frequently involved in food-borne illness outbreaks.

FUTURE CRISIS IN HAND
 +
Every 3.6 seconds a person dies from starvation, unfortunately children under the age of 5 are most often the victims.  If all food crops grown globally were fed directly to humans instead of animals, around 70% more food would be added to the world’s supply, which would be enough to feed 4 billion additional people.

DO YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THE FIRST EVER GENERAL ELECTION HOSTED BY KAILASA, THE ONLY HINDU NATION?

With Covid 19 taking the world by storm, we are experiencing a change like never before."The new normal" is going to shift towards "vegan and organic food" and this trend will soon become a lifestyle for many.

This pandemic is a wake up call for Hindus all around the to come to a conclusion on the never ending diatribe of whether we should adopt a Vegetarian or a Non vegetarian based diet. SHRIKAILASA is presenting you with all the necessary content required to make your decision because we believe in responsible democracy where we educate the voters on the topic that is being voted upon. Keeping this in mind, we have present everything starting with the statistics of studies done by researchers to the authentic Shastra Pramana and cosmic revelation, now the ball is in your court, it's your turn to decide.

The Principle Question to be Voted on: Do you want non-vegetarian food to be kept as an option for Hindus regularly, or even ritualistically, or it should not be an option for Hindus, it should be completely stopped or should it not be an option for Hindus, should be completely stopped.

A question to ponder upon before proceeding : Are you conscious of your lifestyle choices and it's impacts?

IMPACTS ON MEAT BASED DIETS VERSUS PLANT BASED DIETS ON AN INDIVIDUAL AND THEIR SURROUNDINGS

CARBON FOOTPRINT A carbon footprint corresponds to the whole amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) produced to, directly and indirectly, support a person’s lifestyle and activities. The carbon footprint is a very important means to understand the impact of a person’s behavior on global warming.

According to http://shrinkthatfootprint.com, A 2009 study by Edgar G. Hertwich and Glen P. Peters, Carbon Footprint of Nations: A Global, Trade-Linked Analysis, graphically shows what a typical personal footprint looks like:

Carbon Footprint

This shows an average person's carbon footprint with food consumption resulting in the most emission of carbon dioxide. The diet one follows is very important especially when calculating the carbon footprint of an individual. For instance

Shrink That Footprint’s chart shows that a meat lover has the highest carbon footprint at 3.3 tons of greenhouse gas emissions. A vegan diet has the lowest carbon footprint at just 1.5 tons CO2e (Carbon Dioxide Equivalent).

Carbon Dioxide Equivalent

The carbon footprint of a vegetarian diet is about half that of a meat-lover’s diet. A breakdown on the greenhouse gas produced by one kilo of each food. This table down below shows how many miles you need to drive to produce that many greenhouse gases. For example, you need to drive 63 miles to produce the same emissions as eating one kilogram of beef whereas you need to drive 7 miles to produce the same emission as eating one kilogram of potatoes

Carbon Footprint 3

The figures are taken from Figures from the Environmental Working Group’s Meat Eater’s Guide and the EPA’s Guide to Passenger Vehicle Emissions.

On top of that, Livestock farming produces from 20% to 50% of all man-made greenhouse gas emissions. Meat production is the primary source of methane emissions, a greenhouse gas 86 times more potent than carbon dioxide over a 20-year period.

Bhagavan's words on Carbon Footprint

WATER USAGE

According to IME, estimated water required to produce a kilo of beef is about 15,415 liters whereas a kilo of tomatoes will require about 214 liters of water

TOXIC CHEMICALS The EPA estimates that nearly 95 percent of the pesticide residue in the typical American diet comes from meat, fish and dairy products. Fish, in particular, contain carcinogens (PCBs, DDT) and heavy metals (mercury, arsenic, lead, cadmium) that can't be removed through cooking or freezing.

FUTURE CRISIS IN HAND Every 3.6 seconds a person dies from starvation, unfortunately children under the age of 5 are most often the victims. If all food crops grown globally were fed directly to humans instead of animals, around 70% more food would be added to the world’s supply, which would be enough to feed 4 billion additional people.

"I am also warning the whole world, within next fifteen years you will be able to support the whole population with food ONLY IF YOU DECIDE TO TURN VEGETARIAN" The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam

Some revelations from cosmic library :

"Other than Kalabhairava nobody has a right to take any life. People who eat the meat or kill to supply the meat, both are treated as murderers from the cosmic law."

"Animals have the capacity to store pain in their muscles and body when they are killed. When you eat that you become prone to that pain. You can fall in depression." See Vegetarianism
