Sharing educational breakthroughs
'On 28th January 2017, a panel discussion on education is held with Dr. Deborah Chance PhD, a brain research specialist and former school administrator. The panel also includes parents and teachers, including Shridhar, a management consultant, Rishi Sri Nithya Advaithananda, Janardhan Ayya, a corporate leader in Bangalore, Mamtha, a parent, Supraja Reddy, Ma Ganga and Ma Vidhya, who are parents of children in the Gurukul now. athe head of the Nithyananda Gurukul, shares her observations about the breakthroughs in the education system that are being innovated now at the Nithyananda Gurukul. While ordinary schools in the USA and around the world are setting students up for failure by pressuring them with exams, rivalries and competition, and only encouraging them to build their minds to the level memorizing facts and being practical in the workforce. The Nithyananda Gurukul, a traditionally Vedic and Agamic school, has a more holistic approach to education, not only giving students knowledge without stress and pressure, but also, through Swamiji's personal initiations and guidance, empowering students to realize the highest possibility in life. This includes Shaktis, powers, as well as beautiful yogic health, inner confidence and strength. Dr. Chance said beautifully, "These children are living in high neurological level all the time; there's no swiss cheese, curse words, high stress, so there's a stability of living Integrity, Authenticity, Responsibility, Enriching." Mumtha said about her children, "Shridhar and I have always looked or aspired for the best for Sharanya because we come from a school of thought where the education system should provide not just a knowledgeable, successful, career oriented individual, but filled with wisdom, respectful of the other human being where the coo-existence happens. Swamiji is always saying sharing with others is the purpose of existence. Share love, care, help, be concerned."
