Title:

Sleep your way to health - Meditation Technique: Nithyananda

Description:

In this discourse, Paramahamsa Nithyananda elaborates on sleep and health.

By its innate nature, you, the Consciousness, resides in pure space - the timeless, formless, nameless space. But because of engraved memories, you see name & form, and go through time. Engraved memories (engrams)are nothing but passing thoughts, to which you have given power by being attached to them. Too much attachment to engrams is responsible for insomnia & all sleep disorders in your body.

Own your body, own your mind, own your life -- this is the solution for sleeping your way to health & enlightenment. Own your body - Consciously design your body as you want it with yoga - healthy and graceful. Own your mind -- Consciously design your mind in such a way that suffering cannot touch you. Own your living -- Infuse awareness into every action of your life. Yogic body, Vedic mind, Zen living!

MEDITATION TECHNIQUE: One night, try meditating in darkness on darkness. When you sit and meditate in darkness consciously, sleep disorder will disappear.

Understand the truth about sleep, and you will sleep your way to enlightenment!

Tuesday, September 7, 10 Today’S subject is transcend through meditation. Chapter 2, sutra 11. Transendence can happen only thru meditation. Growth can happen thru various practices, but Transendence can happen only thru meditation. Med is the only way where Transendence can happen. The quantum break thru, quantum leap happens only thru med. Patan till last sutra, was speaking abt diff process. Now he is giving direct sol. Let us enter into the sutra. dhyana heyahastad brudaya. Vivek: by med their modifications have to be rejected Prabh: in their fully developed form they can be overcome thru med Dwid: Their transformations have to be suppessed by me There is no doubt. The samskaras can be Transcended only by med. No doubt. Let us und the word med – dhyana. 1000s of interpretation, 1000s of ways, 1000s of methods, 1000s of unde abt dhyana exist. Let me give you exactly what I mean by the word dhyana. Means being in the state of nirvikalpa, thru unclutching. That is what I call dhyana. Getting bk to that state again and again and again. So being in dhyana is the only way Transcendence will start happening. All these engrams will leave your system. Till the Transcendence happen, there is no guarantee you will have freedom. The engrams will have its own power. It will go on giving you constant toruture, suffering. Only when the Transcendence happens, engrams will free you and you will be free from the engrams. In zen they call it taming of the mind. But here what I am saying is not even taming of the mind, just dropping the mind. Going beyond the mind. Just being in the uncluthched space. Again and again and again I go on speaking on uncluthching. I never get bored. I may give 1000 intros, I may do 1000 things, finally I come and land in that. Again and again unclutching is the only solution how much every your mind avoids that solution. Avoids that process, that is the only solution. That is the only way for the ultimate. That is the only way you can Transcend the expansion and expression of samskaras – engraved memory. Constantly being in dhyana, being in the unclutched mode, whole day – walking, talking, sitting doing everything in unclutched mode. If you oblserved from y’day night, suddenly whole ashram has slowed down. I put them into a spl practice radiating enlight. It is prep for vyana and udana. Anything you do has to be done with awareness. Dhyana. What patanj says Transcendence can happen only thru dhyana. If you are walking, walk with awareness. How earth feels, what your muscles feel, where the thigh bone and hip bone feel. Feel continuously how … 3 things – one breathing, 2 belly movement, 3 body movements. Be aware of all these 3. That is the only way, Transcendence can happen. So walking, talking, standing, eating, whole day be aware. Morning when you wake up, don’t jump from the bed, if you did that, go back again. Wake up again slowly with awareness (Buddha story) Everything you do, let it be filled with awareness. Awareness is the only way of Transcendence. From this moment, be in dhyana – zen. Suddenly the whole thing will get slowed down. It is ok. Perfect. Nothing wrong. You are not in a hurry to achieve anything, do anything. If things gets slowed down. It is ok. But infuse awareness. Watch your breath, your belly movments, your thots. Whatever is happening around you, in you, continuously be aware. Float, breath, live, move in awareness. What is happening inside and outside your system, have the tremendous awareness. Even now while you are sitting be aware. How your muscles feel, mind feels, body feels, listen to these words with deep awareness. Suddenly you will see these words are just encompassing you. My presence is just penetrating you, filling you. Something is over flowing in you. Pl und just ordinary sitting, the process is stariting in you. That is what is called LEP. Just one process. Within one day, the whole ashram has slowed down. This was the most restless place on planet earth till y’day evening. And now, this is the most resful awareness place on planet earth. I don’t think any other organiz will have this kind of restful awareness. It is such an imp thing in your life, start living, start radiating. Let your walking, talking, sitting, let everything be in restful awareness. Let everything have restful awareness. With R.A earth will feel you are a blessing. You will feel your body is a blessing. With RA you will feel as if honey is moving in you. First thing you will feel there is a deep sweetness is happening in the throat … So und, infuse dhyana into all the movements. Walking, talking, sitting, standing, living, breathing, in all movements, infuse prana. Dhyana, zen, consciousness all are diff words for the same phenomena. Whatever is happening in you, be aware of that. Let that awareness, penetrate into all your actions, talking, walking, sitting, inside whatever is happening. Even the digestion, be aware. What is going on inside your heart, intestines, liver inside your system. Be aware. You will see very clearly that being aware will awaken one of the most powerful energy in you – Kundalini. That is the only way to Transcend ordinary disturbance. To Transcend all the distortions which happen inside your inner space. Let us enter into the next sutra. Klesha moola karma aashayaha drushta adrushta janma vedaaniyaha Vivek: the receptacle of works has its root in the aforesaid pain bearing obstructions and their experience is in the visible life or unseen next life Prabha :A mans latent tendencies have been created by his past thots and actions. These tendencies will bear fruits in lifes to come. It means, the root cause of all these problems is rooted in karmaashaya where all the samskaras are recorded and stored. It has to be expeirneced. It will be experienced in this or unseen life. Many tech terms. Karmashaya – where all the engrams are stored. Today morn I was describing the folded tent – our deep sleep state. That is karmashaya where all our tendencies are stored. Its effect is exp either in this life or other unseen lives. Patan is 1st time introducing great truth to create your strategy for all lifes… Person who creates SP for seen life is a materialist. One who creates for all lives is Enlight.one who has SP for 100 yrs the other for Life. Ofcourse there are others who don’t have SP even for the seen life. So SP for the whole life not just this 60 yrs. Not just this 100 yrs. For the whole life, patanj is introducing this great truth now. He is saying if they are in the karmashaya. Means, even if they…. It will be experience in some life. Word unseen life is – one in lifes to come or even in this life unconsc parts. This sutra is more like a statutory warning. That is why it is boring. But it has to be told. Do not allow the samskaras to stay in you even in the seed level. The only sol not to let them stay in you even in the seed level is infuse awareness whole day. Whole day morn till night from the moment you wake till you fall asleep, just be intensely aware. Aware of walking, talking, sitting ,standing, everything. Be aware. That is the only way, even in the latent potential level the engrams will not be staying in you. Our engrams are so powerful they cheat us in a very easy way. With diff diff names and forms. One great rishi, Jada bharatha. He was meditation in a river in a forest. One day one small baby deer - jmother gave birth and died. So he saw that baby. And his compassion. He adopted that baby, starting take care of that baby. Slowly started attached to that baby. The deer started growing and his attachment started growing. After some time, his whole day he was attached to that deer, whole life was around that deer. (in my life, grand ma was attached to a dog) so the deer became center of life for him. Then by and by and by, whole day his whole life is centered on that deer. Slowly, very slowly, his whole mind got centered on that deer, one day he died with the memory of the deer. He took birth and came bk to live with the deer as companion. When living with that deer, suddenly one rishi touched him and gave him past life memory. He thot oh god what happened to me. I was supposed to be enlight here I am living a deer life. So engrams, even if it comes up with diff names like compassion, this that are very dangerous. Can be really very dangerous. Even one engram allowed can destroy whole life. Fire, loan, enemity, engram – these 4 you should nto leave even little. It can grow even before you open your eyes. All these 4 should not be even little bit. All 4 should be destroyed completely. Inhaling, exhaling, belly movement, body movement. Infuse awareness into everything. If you have moved uncons no get back. Do it consc. That is what is called prayashchitha. Don’t feel shy to do prayashchita. Don’t think somebody will laught. Only when you do prayashchtha for 3-4 days, you will be in habit of awareness. As of now, if you move your muscles, you may feel bitterness in throat. But if you infuse awareness, it will creat sweet taste in your throat. Whole body will feel sweet. Then you will happy and grateful for your life which itself is a blessing. You will be happy that life has happened in you. You will be happy that life is radiating in you. Again, the moment it becomes evening, again and agiain I get into mood of doing. Sandhya is very powerful. Evening’s power to put youself into med by its very nature is amazing and unimaginable. Und the process. Awareness. That’s all. Just close your eyes. Don’t move your body.
