Day's Event
Last Rites of Beloved Nandi:
Nandi lived at the Aadheenam for many years and was loved by all. He was a giant, beautiful Bull who "oversaw" life in Nithyananda Goshala. In 2007, he was born on the same auspicous day His Holiness - January 1. After receiving blessings from His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyanada on His Avatar Day celebrations, December 23, Nandi decided he was ready to leave the body a short time later. Last rites were performed by His Holiness and the whole Aadheenam was in attendance, giving their love and respects and sending him on his final journey to Kailasa.
