On this day Mattu Pongal was celebrated with His Divine Holiness (HDH) at Thiruvannamalai. Mattu Pongal is the day when the first harvest of the season is offered to cows and bulls. These are the Fulcrum of the Vedic Tradition and provide Sacred items like Milk, Ghee and helping in Agriculture.
