"Vitarka, the Ultimate Reasoning". Today Paramahamsa Nithyananda, rare avatar and enlightened master discussed Patanjali's Yoga Sutra 84th, chapter 2, 33 verse: "Vitarka badhane pratipaksa bhavanam - When thoughts obstructing to yoga arise, contrary thoughts should be employed." Swamiji explained the essence of this sutra as "whenever body and mind are not interested in following the yama and niyama, create 'vitarka' -- the strong feeling connection by creating the right, opposite thoughts in you and aligning yourself to the strong will.
Swamiji uses 'Vitarka' to describe the logic that takes you beyond logic, the right logic, leading you to the ultimate experience of feeling connection. Patanjali gives us a simple, power technique: to make yama and niyama possible in your life. Whenever yama or niyama is taken as rules and regulations, your mind always deviates and does not want to do and you want to resist it. The whole mind starts doing project planning, strategy planning. He elaborated with a solution, "Mind always plays. Yama means not just the law but also the power of executing the law. So, don't be just below the laws. Be the power that executes the law.  The mind plays so understand yama (law and power of executing law). Same way, Niyama is not rules. It is raising your life to highest coherence. "

The universe is an independent intelligence. Either you go on questioning, fight and die or you see the grandeur of the universe by becoming an insider.

When you keep the internal and external purity, you will raise your family to the highest coherence. If you have the ability to accept and bear the suffering, without causing pain, you will raise the community to the highest coherence, that is Tapas.

He sees all over the world, millions of disciples doing this, and raising the world to highest coherence. Strength, Swadhayaya: reading, understanding, and raising your intellectual ability to grasp the truth, to be in the highest possibility. That's what he is doing every morning through the morning satsang.

Finally, "Ishwara Pranidaanani". Bringing the whole cosmos to the highest coherence. Surrendering and relaxing into the Cosmos. Then the whole cosmic consciousness rises. Swamiji declared that, "I am creating shastradhaaris, shaastra shastrdharis -- who are having knowledge weapons. Who embody themselves in the great spiritual understanding constantly raising the spiritual understanding, I am helping the whole civilization to its highest possible coherence."

Sharing a powerful technique for ones on spiritual path, "Whenever kutarka comes, bring vitarka back. When mind says don't get up, sleep, stop it and get up. This is how millions waste away and miss their spiritual path. Must stop the negative, destructive thoughts and replace with positive."

The satsang ended with the ultimate teaching to meditate on one truth, "Put all your energy to align yourself to yama (law) and niyama (highest coherence). Create 'Vitarka' to yama and niyama by strong will (pratipaksa bhavana). Don't waste your life in unawareness and not practicing. Establish yourself in ultimate Vitarka."
