Original Verse:

"चक्र-कुम्भं द्विधा कुर्याद्-अग्निषोमं तथैकधा

शङ्ख-कुम्भोऽयम्-ईशेन पूर्ववद् द्विविधः स्मृतः ॥ ११० ॥

कौष्म्यम्-ईषच्-छितलता कुम्भयोर्-अनयोर्-भवेत् ॥ १११ ॥"


Transliteration:

"cakra-kumbhaṃ dvidhā kuryād-agniṣomaṃ tathaikadhā

śaṅkha-kumbho'yam-īśena pūrvavad dvividhaḥ smṛtaḥ ॥ 110 ॥

kauṣmyam-īṣac-chitalatā kumbhayor-anayor-bhavet ॥ 111 ॥"


Translation:

"Cakra Kumbhaka should be practiced twice while agni-ṣoma one. Śaṅkha-Kumbhaka is also described two-fold as Cakra-Kumbhaka explained before. With these two varieties of Kumbhaka, one experiences warmth and cold."
