Following Swamiji's 30 th Jayanti celebrations in 30 countries worldwide, his birthstar was celebrated as always in Tiruvannamalai, his birth place and spiritual nerve center of the world. Every year, Swamiji is received at the Arunachala temple of Tiruvannamalai with great joy and revere and special offerings are made by chief priests of the temple to the deities. Following are some pictures of his trip to Tiruvannamalai.
Birthstar Celebrations
Early morning on the day of the birthstar celebrations, Swamiji is seen offering arati (lit camphor) to Lord Ganesha in the place of stay after which there was a grand procession to Arunachaleshwara temple for offering gratitude to Arunagiri Yogeshwara.
Felicitated by Sri Subramaniam, Assistant Commissioner of the Arunachala temple after which the chief priests proceeded with the offerings.

HDH offers to Sri Subramaniam, a newly released book: Nithyananda Vol. I , the first volume of a biographical account of HDH.
Swamiji is seen seated on the very rock where he had his first profound spiritual experience at the age of 12. This is also the land of the Tiruvannamalai ashram today.
While Swamiji is seen seated on the rock, Maheshwara puja is offered. This puja is an offering of a meal to sannyasis and brahmacharis , who are believed to be channels of Existence. By offering to them, one offers to the departed souls of their near and dear ones. It is believed that it will reach them through these channels of Existence. Here, Sri Nithya Bairavananda, administrative head of the entire Tamilnadu operations, offers this puja to his late Mother Unnamalai Ammal.

In the evening of the same day, Swamiji delivered a speech in Tamil, at a satsang in Tiruvannamalai. Thousands gathered for the program. Seen here is the venue where the satsang was held. The topic was: Indru Pirakkattum Pudhu Yugam (Let a new era be born today).
