Title:
The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism HDH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam

In this talk on his biographical highlights, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam discusses the nature of devotion. He counsels us that devotion should be the foundation of our lifestyle. Activities such as yoga, meditation and study perform a specific purpose. Once that goal is achieved they can be discontinued, but devotion is the central locus of spiritual life and is thus eternal. His Divine Holiness advises us that every home should have a space for worship. He gives us a unique technique to increase our experience of devotion: for twenty-four hours, we bow inwardly to every being and every object – trees, animals, furniture – as if it is God. Undertaking this practice, we encounter our own divinity.
