Description
At the heart of the Vedic tradition and Hindu life is the sacred tradition of Hindu temples, the Cosmic Energy centers where the Divine resides in the beautiful forms of deities. The advent of His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda, 293rd Guru Maha Sannidhanam, Sarvagnya Peetha, is to revive these temples.
His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda visited the ancient Kanjanoor Agniswarar Temple. On 30 May 2012, the day started with the volunteers and ashramites gathering at the temple at 6am to clean up! Soon Swamiji joined led by example, cleaning and supervising and going around the temple premises to study the amount of work that needed to be done to renovate and rebuild the temple which has been in a state of disrepair.
Swamiji says, “Today, more than ever before, we can appreciate the Vedic intelligence that gave rise to the concept of temples. The powerful positive vibrations present in a temple can flush out negative energies, resulting in physical and mental healing. In modern times, temples are truly the oxygen bars for the soul!”
