4 Nov 2002 -Bhoomi puja & laying the first bricks at Adi Kailash
On 4 Nov 2002, The Avatar - His Divine Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam performed the Bhoomi Puja (ceremony of worshipping Mother Earth) and laid the first bricks in the land at Bidadi, Bengaluru, South India, to commence building Adi Kailash - the global spiritual headquarters of ShriKailasa - the only Hindu Nation. 24 long years of tyaga (sacrifice) and hard work culminated in laying the first bricks and Himself performing the ceremony with the appropriate rituals. A small group of fortunate beings witnessed this historic event. From there started the era of superconscious breakthrough for humanity at large.
