Original Verse
"पूरयेच्-चन्द्र-मार्गेण धारयित्वाध्वजायुधे ॥
रेचयेत्-तम्-उभाभ्यां चेत्-कुमुदः कुम्भकः स्मृतः ॥ १९० ॥"
Transliteration
"pūrayec-candra-mārgeṇa dhārayitvādhvajāyudhe ॥
recayet-tam-ubhābhyāṃ cet-kumudaḥ Kumbhakaḥ smṛtaḥ ॥ 190 ॥"
Translation
"When the air is inhaled through the left nostril and after holding the breath, exhaled through both the nostrils, it is called Kumuda Kumbhaka."
